monarch kids update...ridley bros and sbb

I think if we don't have a good season, they'll definitely stay with Bama. If we finally turn the corner and do something of significance, I think it will get a lot of kids to give us another look.

It stinks that this is how South Florida supports their local school, because you don't see many local kids elsewhere in the south forcing the local team to rebuild and then they will come, but whatever, always been that way down here.

What we really need is for Mario to be offered and accept a coordianator possition and leave Bama.

I'm sick about losing Ridley. He had one of the best tape of any WR I have seen in the past 4-5 years; yes, on par with Watkins and Coley IMO. The tandem of him and Coley is what we need to reach where we want to go. I hope we get him back along with SBB, who is a dynamic athlete at safety. FSU just signed all those candy *** WRs in one class, so we need elite DBs to cover them. I don't think we will get them back, but **** it I hope so.

Calvin Ridley is elite like Coley, Watkins and Lee. The speed, the moves, the hands, everything they can do, it looks flawless.

And 1899. His brother is a physical freak from what I've heard, could play RB or WR.

Misses that actually bother me is the DTs we've missed or linebacker like Matthew Thomas. These skill positions get easily compensated.

THIS. I'm obsessed with DT. For decades, UM was known for great DL. Now, where are they?

Makes me sick seeing those bama gloves from one of south floridas best. Hope the staff stays on him hard and turns up the heat during the season.

I think the thing to keep an eye on in their recruiting is Cristobal. Does he stay another year or does he move on to a head coaching gig.

Right now Miami's not in the business of taking players that they do not want, because of scholarship reductions. That being said why are they not holding Alabama to the same standard?

Exactly, I call BS on that **** bout a package deal cuz of one dude who doesn't have a Bama offer yet they committed.

Couple of things...

Ridley is not 205 pounds. Stop it. Burgess-Becker is heavier right now.

According to someone close to the situation (not sure how much closer he could be), absolutely right on Ridley's grades. Not as bad as multiple reports say: it's SBB they gotta worry about.

Also remember Ridley is 19 this year. He's applying for a waiver to play because he started school late, wasn't held back.

At IMG, I was told Ridley is focused on getting to Bama early and is in line to possibly graduate early.

And Hoggins is a beast. Would be a great nickel CB.

So he started school two years late? You can't be 19 amd nine months old by football season and start school 1 year late.

Calvin Ridley is not 205.

He's in the 170-180 range. About 6'1".

Burgess-Becker is closer to 200 about 195 and about 6'0"-6'1"

And Cavin is about 6'2" 190-195
