Not for nothing but technically what he said was “true” but he didn’t really say anything .

1. At some point in time, an AD will be hired.

2. Yesterday, at least publicly, an AD was not announced/hired.

Due to #2 and #1, we’re closer to the hiring of an AD. Now it depends on how you define “accelerate” and “real progress”.
