Not a fan of him or Banda but whoever helped make redwines light turn on he became a good player (including in the NFL so far) deserves some credit

There is a difference Banda is actually a good safeties coach.

Real sh.it, I read this and almost snapped my neck looking at you sideways

Bandy hasn't gotten any better since his freshman season.
Elder was already developed

Jackson is pretty much it
Elder wasnt already developed. He was hyped up by this fan base because he made a couple plays. Dude wasn't even on no nfl mock drafts or nothing. Elder himself has given the guy credit for helping him and colbert too.

He improved quite a bit as a sophomore actually. The same pff ranking some of yall was hyping Derrick stingley on yesterday was the same that had Trajan bandy ranked as the #12 corner in the country at seasons end as a sophomore. He regressed as a junior though and wasn’t as consistent

Look at the depth at Corner and then compare it to Safety. I don't know what the **** you're talking about. Banda has had 2 Safetys selected in the 4th rd of the NFL draft. 1 one of them has been starting for many yrs, and the other one will be a full time starter by next yr.

Agreed.

The depth chart at safety features 36 year old Robert Knowles heavily, an underperforming phenom Richt closed (Hall), an underperforming phenom Brevin Jordan closed (Bolden) and a highly rated recruit (Carter) many on this site wished played striker (which Banda doesn't coach) instead of safety. You count Finley as some amazing safety recruiting and development by Banda even though he plays striker and is coached by someone else.

Rumph and Banda both have put guys in the NFL. Neither are good enough recruiters, one develops players very well. Banda, Patke, Baker are all equally weak in my eyes and should go before Rumph.

Fire Banda and Rumph and hire Ed Reed. There won’t be a DB in the country that doesn’t want to be coached by the Goat.

Don’t tell me it won’t work. I’m watching former pros get hired around College Football and succeed.

Ed Reed has forgotten more about playing safety than banda has ever learned .

This thread was long overdue.

It’s been like two weeks since opinions on this topic were regurgitated for 15-20 pages.

The safety play hasn't been amazing by any means. Hall and Bolden are plus athletes and weren't playing lights out. Robert Knowles was the most consistent player by far. By all indications his "development" finally cements when the player is a Senior.

Which of his safety recruits has he developed?

As for corners. Bandy last year was statistically one of the best cover corners in the ACC, this year Blades statistically was one of the best. Rumph's issue is he needs to recruit guys ready to play sooner. As it stands Bandy would be a great nickel and Ivey ideally would be the 4th CB. The issue is Rumph swings for the 4 and 5 stars and then doesn't seem to have fallback options other than development players.

These are the type guys that are True Hurricanes, guys that bring the real facts. If anybody thinks coach rumph hasnt been doing his job, they dont know football, lol. While we do need to get our numbers up, i posted a few video's that prove coach rumph knows what he is doing, and i forgot about the 1st turnover chain wearer would in Malek young. Coach rumph would do better if he was surrounded with more certified goon coaches on the defensive side, but he's down a real good job and is a True qualified Cane and Cane coach!

If we had a top 15 offense to go along with a top 15 D, we'd probably be undefeated.

I'm not gonna waste time *****ing and complaining about the D or any of the D coaches when our problem is so obvious. Fix the got **** offense.

You need glasses if you dont think corn elder improved from his junior year to his senior year, or maybe you dont watch UM football. And if you think bandy didnt get better, lol, ok, carry on.
