Mike Rumph

Can we all just agree that Rumph is better than ******* Paul Williams? Or whatever the fvck his name was.

Rumph is a good coach but can’t recruit. If you can’t sell kids you coached since small pants days you are dead on the trail.

The “his guys don’t turn around” line ishalf malarkey because you don’t turn around to defend the fade.
 
Who would be the replacement be if we were to fire rumph. Diaz doesn't have many connections and it would most likely be demarcus van Dyke. Would u be ok with that ?

The depth chart at safety features 36 year old Robert Knowles heavily, an underperforming phenom Richt closed (Hall), an underperforming phenom Brevin Jordan closed (Bolden) and a highly rated recruit (Carter) many on this site wished played striker (which Banda doesn't coach) instead of safety. You count Finley as some amazing safety recruiting and development by Banda even though he plays striker and is coached by someone else.

Rumph and Banda both have put guys in the NFL. Neither are good enough recruiters, one develops players very well. Banda, Patke, Baker are all equally weak in my eyes and should go before Rumph.

No one here would fire Rumph or Banda to promote DVD. This may not be the year to do it, but I say fire both for an experience 2ndary coach, someone that used to be a DC.

Wesley McGriff, Corey Bell, Corey Ford, Donté Williams, T-Rob, Evan Cooper Jr, Van Malone or even a guy like Blue Adams.

There's plenty of options. I'm NOT saying he should be fired, but he can be replaced.

I know there are plenty of names I agree but with how Diaz has been with his defensive staff it's all guys who he has coached with or has upgraded their role ie patke. That's my worry
