It doesn’t matter because it doesn’t mean that he knows how to teach or recruit. I’m not taking a guy who never had to teach football to somebody or recruit somebody to play football.I see you are vehemently against Reed as a position coach. You do realize he was basically a defacto DC on the field for Miami and Baltimore. Both won championships and I would bet he would be an extreme motivator and teacher. He would also bring the experience and culture we had and Baltimore had.
Using your logic Tennessee should hire Peyton Manning to be their new OC.
