I see you are vehemently against Reed as a position coach. You do realize he was basically a defacto DC on the field for Miami and Baltimore. Both won championships and I would bet he would be an extreme motivator and teacher. He would also bring the experience and culture we had and Baltimore had.

What do you mean? Peyton literally used to call his own plays at time...he was his own coordinator at times unlike Ed who was a “defacto” coordinator...FYI Rex Ryan only gave a certain amount of plays to change to. Tennessee should definitely hire him.

He coaches 6 guys and did a good job. So what? There are a thousand HS coaches who could do that.

It’s college football though, so you can’t waste 1 of the 10 golden spots on a guy who coaches 6 players and is a repellent to recruits. That spot absolutely requires a guy who can teach the same basic **** Rumph teaches PLUS recruits like a dynamo. It’s almost criminally negligent to waste a DB coaching spot on a guy who makes recruits dry heave.
