If we have two ******* DB coaches we are perfectly fine with one of them being the "teacher" and the other being the "recruiter".

The problem is when you idiots expect the teacher to land all the studs that the recruiter is supposed to bring in. Imo all the failures of DB recruiting lie with Banda. If he isn't recruiting at an elite level what the **** is his purpose? Rumoh isn't recruiting at an elite level but at least he's actually ******* coaching his position very well.

Patke is the most useless person on staff after Jon Richt though. Sure MAYBE he coached Finley up. But the rest of the LB play this yr was garbage, and PB recruiting was kinda ***. Patke is neither a good teacher nor a good recruiter.

yeah, he was targeted a lot...he made some plays like that throughout the season as well,but make no mistake, it was an underwhelming year for the young man.

Good. Can't fckin recruit to save his life, I'm tired of having to rely on GT's & Juco's at a crucial Corner spot because he couldn't do a simple job. Dudes like Dean & Delaney had no business playing here.

He's NOT irreplaceable, he's only beloved on this site because he played for the 00-01 Canes.

I know of 2 different DB coaches in HS in South Fla that thought Rumph was a joke, whether yall wanna hear it or not he's not well respected on the scene & gets clowned by a lot of local South fla coaches, which is why he had such a hard time recruiting.

Pretty much all I needed to hear. Mike can go.

We currently have a black CB coach who had CLOSE relationships with TC and Surtain. Boy, I wonder where those two went? Oh wait.

Oh, oh, oh what about when Shannon was here. How come top recruit in south Florida weren't lining up to come here year after year then? Shouldn't Shannon have finished top 10 in recruiting every year when he was here? Honestly I'm tired of what all of these MFers gotta say. Get who we have to get to win. F*ck their feelings. Now I ain't saying burn bridges but as we've seen these dude don't pull no weight in terms of getting top prospect. We've hired respected SFL HS coaches black or not, nothing.

Plus I believe we need to recruit OOS more if we actually want to compete. We need to stop this south florida all or nothing 80's recruiting philosophy. This ain't the 80's anymore where no one knew how loaded south Florida was. The book is out and that is what people don't understand. We need to change or at least update the thinking of how we recruit so don't have to entertain this kind of BS anymore since we act so reliant on SFL talent. We need to expand.
