Dawson can leave at any point if he is a success tbh. mike is doing the work so as long as hes there, it's a selling point for other QB recruits or transfers after his work w travis.

Main reason I wanted my head guy to be an OC type, like dolphins have with McDaniel.. No matter who gets hired off successful staff, the head guy will make sure its RIGHT. Same with why I wanted Kiffin to get a look, He got okie st starter to come sit on his bench, wtf.. His offense will bring guys and recruit and he will light up scoreboard regardless of if guys like Lebby leave..

Oh well Im more cfb fan but gonna get my rocks off of speeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed on sundays, **** it

FSU fans were on the cliff after the ’21 season as Canes fans are presently. No-one wanted to give Norvell 3-4 years to improve either.

Norvell is a football nerd. Mario is a Tuff & Fisical salesman.

This year. I had them at 8-4 and they still on track to do that

Man, Im still not sure why I was wrong about Garcia. I mean, aside from the fact that he sucked. :confused: I dunno, maybe I was more enamored with his story than his skillset, but he always looked the part.
 
Norvell was dealt a far worse hand than Mario. He was following a burnt out cucked jimbo fisher and willie taggart. Complain about manny all you want but Manny on his worst day is 10x the coach taggart is. he also lost his first year recruiting bump to covid.

Mario inherited a better roster at a program with more money and better recruiting. Losing to a heisman finalist top 15 UNC squad is excusable. Getting blown out by MTSU and the GT debacle isnt.

I dont get the Dawson hate right now. TVD missed a bunch of wide open guys last night. on two of the biggest plays he messed up Horton was wide open.

The answer is year three is show it or it’s not happening. In the portal era you effectively get two classes per year. Near if not complete roster turnover means no more excuses except the excuse of we can’t afford the buyout.
 
FSU fans have amnesia about Norvell. Last year, when they started 4-3, they were all calling for his head. After they lost to three ranked teams in a row. Then they played the cupcake portion of their schedule, beat a terrible OU team in a bowl, and here we are now.

Gonna be interesting to see what they say when he goes 8-4 next year.
