Get off his ****? Have you read my posts I have been trashing him this whole time. That is a BS stat. They didn't keep good records on FCS teams during that time period. For example last year PSU landed 1 3 star and a bunch of 2 stars and some unranked kids. Compare that to Wash state and they got a bunch of 3 stars and some 2 stars and some unranked kids. Miami landed mainly 4 star kids a 5 star and some 3 stars. UVA landed all 3 stars a couple of 4 stars and some 2 stars and unranked kids.

Most of the week I was still in shock how we played against Virginia. That was one of the worst called games I've seen in a while. Richt has no excuses for not having a QB ready to play in the ACC. I'm just blowing off some steam today. Not looking for a fight. lol

I want a new OC more than most on this board, but Miami is a program that's trying to upgrade to Conference & playoff contention on an annual basis, neither Leach nor Wario are Championship caliber coaches.

When the time comes to replace Richt whenever he moves on, Wario, Leach, Butch (yeah I said it) are not the answer fellas. These are all downgrade hires.

I wasn't advocating for Leach as our HC. I think he's in a good place for him as a HC with that Rocky Horror Picture Show crowd at WSU. He has a system that works for him and he identifies players who can execute his sytem... and he's not getting the pick of the litter in the PAC 12. The QB thing is impressive.

Hypothetically, I'd take Leach the OC and playcaller over Richt the OC and playcaller but Leach is really a strange dude. I'd rather have someone half normal on staff as OC who runs a competent system amd who is given the authority to run that system without interference from Richt.

Need a coach who will hold everyone accountable one who'll have assistants back end so wired tight they can't pass gas.JJ,butch were that type I believe Diaz is on the same level.animated as he got during Virginia game I almost bet he was looking for somebody butt to kick after the game.so I'd give Diaz a chance if cmr can't cut it.or tell next hc don't change a thing on the defensive side.do whatever it takes to keep Diaz.

Leach > Richt. My only concern with Leach..is that because his Offense rarely utilizes tight ends, they typically struggle in inclement weather, as was witnessed tonight in the Apple Cup. At MIA because we're tight end U, I would hope that he would be more open to using sets that incorporate tight ends.

He's a great offensive mind, he's not a Championshop caliber HC & never will be. There's more than enough evidence to support that, I'm sorry to say.

However, I believe at least one or two of his disciples will ultimately be better Coaches in the long run than him, because they took the best of his scheme & added on things that work better with program building. Plus, they actually care about recruiting.
 
Lol at all the Leach haters bumping threads after he loses in a snow storm. Y'all are the first ones to say the Hurricanes don't play well in cold weather, much less a passing attack that can't see the football in the air 😅
