Mike Halrey

Anyone know if Harley or Thomas returned punts/kicks in high school? Would be nice to finally get back the explosiveness on returns Miami used to always have, and has been sorely lacking lately.

Thomas did & played CB too...

Jhavonte Dean was also a return specialist in High School & at Blinn, and has legit 4.3 speed.

Plus, we could still get Grad transfer Jeff Badet for the sole purpose of being a KR/PR.

Last year we couldn't afford to put Coley back there due to lack of depth, but this year we'll have way more options.

Although, Berrios did a **** good job ensuring that we never had a fumble on PR's... Literally the best hands on Punt Returns in the country.

But, I only want him to take Punts this season in situations where we'll have bad field position & can't risk a fumble...

Otherwise, let one of the young Speedster get us a TD for once lol

I'm clueless on why Malcolm Lewis was returning punts, if they were so scared of Corn, Coley, Richards, Walton, or whoever else getting injured, I can't find any reason why they wouldn't let Travis Homer return punts. He was already on the coverage team anyways.

1:06, thats just NASTY.

was gonna post this if no one else did. that was one of those routes where he had the man beat on the first move, then got him a second time just for the fvck of it

kid's gonna fit in well here. and the voiceover guy is right. qb's become comfortable w guys like him in games when **** starts flying because they know hes gonna consistently be open in man coverage

Liberty City El mentioned we're looking at Jeff Badet. Here's quick highlight. He definitely has good wheels.

if Edwards is still on UF roster in 2019 same thing Harley did to him at the 4:35 sec mark of the video he'll be doing to him again. Beat homeboy so bad he was able to wait and comeback for the ball and still had him beat by five yards and Edwards started the play in off coverage. Yet dudes on here were crying about missing out on him lol, homeboy is slow and would have been Doug Wiggins 2.0

Miami got the most explosive WR at the Army game and the most explosive WR at the Under Armour game.

Not named DJ Mathews? Thomas was hands down not only the most explosive but probably the best overall at the UA game though.

I'm just excited we're going to get to see more of his mother.

Not only is he quick out of his breaks, but he looks every ball in, catches it with his hands, and then is somehow 3 yards up the field in one motion...on every catch.

Great video. Mike seems like a real nice young man with a nice family. Can't wait to see him play.

Coming out of high scool who is better bruce or harley

Just trying to get a comparison

Bruce -he has the make you miss aspect with the ball in his hands, Harley may be a little faster vertically but it's very close

Bruce did too much dancing, not enough "one move and go" to him IMO. If I'm not mistaken, that was the knock on him during his short stint with us.

maybe true but as an overall prospect Bruce was the better receiver. Coaching would have corrected the "dancing" but the natural quickness explosion and change of direction was there, very elusive and field awareness was there also. There is a reason he was a considered a top 10 receiver in the nation and Harley wasn't. I think Thomas is a combination of the Two for what it's worth.

This guy blows Holmes away, bring him in and move deejay to CB . Plus you get him two years.

To me Harley is better than Bruce coming out of highschool when the pads are on...

Not gonna lie, I was ****ting on Harley for the way he handled his recruitment when he was a WVU commit, but really glad to have the kid's speed

Him and Thomas gonna be flyin come September

Bruce is more about that twitch, where Harley is more of a giddy up and go prospect.

Believe Harley had more yards and touchdowns his senior year than Bruce, too.
