I discovered Grassy (think it was Storm Surge then before that?) in '97. Was my main home message board till around '10 or so when the revolution happened. May be off a year or two on when the sale happened and the moderation got heavy handed in the Lounge.

And to answer this question 8 years later, no he did not. Actually the insiders on the board claimed Gruden was a done deal and Bakas was the only one saying he didn’t believe it.

Don’t ask me why I remember that.

Thanks man! Yeah we had some really good ones last night. I found some more Eagle Rare at a local spot here which is super lucky. Probably get into that later!

I still remember when he would have the real-time chats that didn't save where he would offer juicier predictions. I think for a while he did have a connection to someone in the Hect that would give him some bits and pieces, but that appeared to dry up at some point.

Those chats were awesome. The derailments were also awesome LoL

Mike had good relationships w/ the players from what I remember. Also had a good relationship w/ one of the assistants at the time. There were probably more. His easy going nature helped him gain access and trust.

Now his choices of traveling to see HS players OOS left much to be desired: Kyle Wright and Lance Leggett :ROFLMAO:
