Bakas was a good guy. If I recall he lived up in Orlando but would drive down to hang out for the Grassy signing day parties we had. People would bring their laptops and hit refresh all day long. Larry Blustein even joined us a couple of times.

He'd also tailgate w/ the Grassy crowd at home and away games if he attended and had a little time. Even his dad joined at a few. Really good guy as mentioned by a few. Last I heard of him he was coaching summer travel ball HS baseball teams. But that was a long time ago.

I discovered Grassy (think it was Storm Surge then before that?) in '97. Was my main home message board till around '10 or so when the revolution happened. May be off a year or two on when the sale happened and the moderation got heavy handed in the Lounge.
