Michael Pratt

He’s the best QB Texas has. He’s just behind the son of Austin in Quinn ewers and a manning. Politics
**** I’d be happy with either of the 3 (TVD, Pratt or Murphy).

I love Emory, but I got a feeling our team is ready to win win next year. With Emory there’d be a learning curve - which we can’t afford with @UF being game 1. Need a plug and play QB if TVD dips.

I know nothing of Miami’s Nil situation and that’s gonna be a big factor but I know you’ll have a punchers chance with him via Dawson

Riley Leonard is a big name to track this off-season.

Also, don't forget Cam Ward if he graduates & doesn't go pro. He won't stay on a team with no TV deal. Dude could bank NIL and wait for a lighter draft class as '24 looks stacked

Would be my first choice of "realistic" portal candidates.

He has turned out to be pretty **** good. Would not be a dissimilar (albeit a few less accolades) get to what gift Notre Dame got when Sam Hartman blessed their campus.

I'd take him over someone that doesn't have significant starts. We should be contending for real for real next year if things bank right. No learning on the job. Come here, throw touchdowns.

Yea alot of teams will be looking for a qb, our best best hope is tyler stays
He'd be one of the top returning QBs in the nation...yeah, that'd be the obvious best case scenario. TVD would be portal QB #1 on every service.

I think most of us expect him to go pro after the year he is looking to have 1/3 of the way through the season.

QB Draft is top heavy with Williams and Maye...but after that...life's yer cup.

Malik Murphy me
I don't understand where all the MM hype comes from in every single QB related thread.

He was a mid level 4* who is 3 for 6 for 40 yards in mop up duty for his entire college career.

Where is the assumption that he is good? I mean, he might be. I just don't see any reason to assume that he is.

And of course that even assumes that he is transferring and would be interested.

I assume there will be at least half dozen interesting QB options in the portal next year with a more seasoned record.

Am I missing something?

I'm sure there were Nebraska fans saying Jake Garcia me. Probably GT/UGa fans saying Jacurri Brown me. etc, etc.. Nothing new. Give me a proven guy from a smaller conference who's eager to prove at the highest level all-day, err'day.

He was something like 12 for 15 for 165 yds and a TD in the Texas Spring game. Two of the misses were a dropped deep ball for 50+ and a dropped TD from the TE from 10 yds out.

Has all the tools.

He also knows he isn't ever going to be out of Arch Manning's shadow and a poster in here with knowledge said he'll be gone as soon as the season is done.

Pratt was pursued by ufag. Didn’t go. And why would Riley Leonard leave Duke to go anywhere but pro when he probably got pursued last year too

I believe he’ll be draft eligible, assuming he doesn’t declare and TVD does. He’ll probably be 1b on the transfer market second only to Murphy. A plug and play QB into what’s proving to be a good offense, plus he being from south Florida, I’ll definitely be watching.
