He's a **** of a lot stronger than Jordan or Mallory. We'll be fine, but the bottom line is Mark Richt is in the business of winning football games. Every single thing he does is designed to help his team win. And Irvin would have absolutely played a good bit against LSU. So clearly Richt felt playing him would have helped him win the game. Not having him is a blow.
That being said, of course obviously this opens the door completely for Jordan and Mallory. They need to grow up quick. I'd expect Jordan to have a major impact in the passing game starting in Week 1. Don't be surprised to see him catch 4-5 balls for 50+ yards. But I just don't love this for a 3rd and 2 or goal line.
