Potentially all 3 starting WR, probably 2
Potentially starting TE
Barrow, Clark, Cook
Alston, Baron, maybe Mesidor

2 LBs (Kiko + Alderman), maybe all 3 of Wes declares off a good year
Maybe Porter Jr at CB
Powell

That’s a LOT of expected production in 2024 even if the minimum leave.

I’d probably quit the board if we won 8 games

But only because I would be such a complete piece of **** to anyone that tried to make excuses I would actually probably feel bad

8 wins barring some absurd string of injuries would be an abject failure

Yeah and if we won 8 games with Cam Ward at QB you think we could convince anyone to come play here next year from the portal? We are at a critical point of the portal use though I do of course think our high school recruiting has stepped up huge

Wazzu won 5 games last year with Ward @ QB. I think we have loads better talent than they did but just having Ward on the team doesn't guarantee anything IMO.

8 is not enough. I live outside Louisville, and the UL fans here and radio shows are like "I would be happy with 8 wins" we are not them.

Yes because he’s the guy that recruited all that talent. So now that he’s putting the pieces all in place you don’t fire the guy if he loses a couple games he shouldn’t have. I don’t know how that’s so hard to get.

But you guys keep it up with your No Excuses campaign. Maybe you should fly the banner if he wins only 8 this season?

No it won’t be recycled because the NIL backers have a limit on their patience. They are the smart money. And as long as they continue to back Mario that’s as long as he has.
