Miami still recruiting Lane hard

If you had to pick 10 of these WRs from South Florida how would you rank them?

2014
Ermon Lane
Travis Rudolph
Johhnie Dixon
Corey Holmes
Darrell Langham

2013
Stacy Coley

2012
Amari Cooper
Angelo Jean-Louis
Ricardo Louis
Avery Peterson
Malcolm Lewis
Herb Waters

2011
Rashad Greene
Tacoi Sumler
Eli Rogers
Phillip Dorsett

2010
Chris Dunkley
Ivan McCartney
James Louis
Quinton Dunbar
De'Joshua Johnson

I know they were all highly touted prospects from South Florida and that some of you have seen them live.

1.)Stacey Coley
2.)Amari Cooper
3.) Ermon Lane
4.)Rashad Greene
5.) Phil Dorsett
6.) Ivan Mccartney
7.) Johnnie Dixon
8.) Quinton Dunbar
9.) Travis Rudolph
10.) Malcolm Lewis
9.)

Is this how we had them going into college or what we think of them right now?

If it's going into college, my list would be like this:

1.) Stacey Coley
2.) Amari Cooper
3.) Ermon Lane
4.) Travis Rudolph
5.) Ivan Mccartney
6.) Johnnie Dixon
7.) AJL
8.) Malcolm Lewis
8.) Rashad Greene
10.) Phillip Dorsett

Has to be what they were heading into college.

Off topic but I saw Ivan is back at WVU, how the **** did that happen? Made me laugh a little when some said he would end up at Miami this year (which many of us said 0 chance).

Going into College. Let's say Miami needed 10 WR's.
Who from South Florida would you take right now?

EDIT: The List are pretty awesome so far looking at everyone's opinions is nice to see some guys in everyone's top 10 or top 5.

I agree with your rankings! Rashad played at Westover, it is a basketball school. Green stood out and him going to live with family in Miami,I was hoping it would help. I have got to give props to Dorsett, this young man is balling too! I live in Albany and I was surprised how Green balled out in the 305!

One last question cane fans. I seen canes on 247 arguing today over Ermon Lane in the comments section and this gator poster, Jhova7, talks as if he is Ermon Lanes Coach

JHova, keep convincing yourself that you have WR talent. The whole reason lane committed to UF in the first place was to be the go to receiver day 1

J Hova 7
he committed because i told him gators were his best fit.....

dunbar is good and the two freshmen i named will be good so when he comes in there will be 8(9 if debose comes back) WRs that have been on a college campus for a year that can run routes, and know how to play the WR position and you think he comes right in and be the #1 guy..... you sleepy

Is he legit or something? (For those that came from 247)

Rashad Greene is someone who'd be slightly higher on the list if I could use hindsight and what I've seen him do in college. Coming out of HS, I wasn't as high on him. I'd be lying if I said I thought he'd show out so soon. Thought he was smooth and solid - like Lewis.

its so hard to not rank cooper on top with how he dominated on such big stages but Coley just seems like a phenom.

So it seems from everyone answers

1) Stacy Coley
2) Amari Cooper
3) Rashad Greene
4)Ermon Lane
5) Malcolm Lewis
6) Angelo Jean-Louis

2010 class is a failure.

First 4 yes, the other two are much lower and AJL might not even belong on the list.....

Wow you brought back some memories. Is Westover still good in hoops? Back in my day (early 90's) they were the isht. Won four straight state titles led by Dontonio Wingfield. To this day the most exciting high school game I've ever watched in person was Westover vs Griffin up in Griffin. I think Westover's entire starting 5 went D-1. State of Georgia had a helluva run with top 5 players from 89 til around 94 or so.

If a player commits or decommits from a school all because of the outcome of a match-up between the two schools he's considering....he's a chump.

The factors that will determine the extent of your ability to succeed at that school won't change based on the outcome of that game.

Yall sleep on AJL. He never had a QB to throw to him in HS. He would be playing over Waters and Lewis if his grades weren't ****, uncoverable in HS. So much gifted talent. That being said

1a.Cooper
1b.Coley
3.Greene
4.AJL
5.Lane
6.Dorsett
7.Rudolph
8.Dunkley
9.Lewis
10.Sticks

And thats based on the order I would've taken them out of HS. Even though hes not up here Dixon he will be a good get if Miami can land him. As far as Langham goes I've played against him, hes very raw, but his ability has no ceiling.
