Miami Spring Game updates.

Better than the one he made to cager a few weeks back?
On that play the throw was suspect at best. Easily three yards out of bounds if cager didnt make the play he did. That was an amazing catch. Today was a **** good throw.

I'm coming out of this day actually feeling pretty good. The reason being, is the main thing that would have frustrated me (Rosier), I already knew I would be frustrated prior to the game. I am way more encouraged about Perry/Williams than I am frustrated with Malik. With Malik, I am taking the "fool me once...." type of approach.

I didn't think that I would go through the day without hearing a lot about Thomas and Cager, but Hightower played like a season vet, making play after f'ucking play.

The defensive line did exactly what we expected them to do (cue Dennis Green press conference).

From my perspective, at the very worst, we will have improved QB play, and I cant believe I am about to say this, even if the QB is Malik. He can't get worse than he was last year. Also, Jarren Williams has now all but assured us that Perry and Malik have no choice but to improve because all both Perry and Malik is going to hear over the summer is "Should Richt start Williams against LSU" The real QB race officially just kicked off after today's game. **** just got real!

Today is a win in my book!

Ummmm i was there saw it first hand he missed harley wide open on one drive, over threw cager on another, he was the same rosier we saw at the end of the year, jarren impressed the **** out of me he was the best QB today
You must not have been there to say he had a nice throw to cager to open up. He made a god awful throw on that play & cager got physical and came way back on a drastically underthrown ball. @CANE ssince birth i was addressing the dude u were correcting. Sorry if it seemed otherwise.

If anyone overtakes Rosier this year it will be Williams. Perry and Rosier are battling too close for Richt to dethrone Rosier, because once he sits Rosier he better be **** sure he made the right call. Theres no going back for Richt if he starts Perry and sees the same results.

Also, Perry starting means that Williams will be behind him for the rest of his career unless Richt wants to start a QB carousel between the 3 of them (which is a terrible look for QB recruiting). At least with Williams if he produces similar results to Rosier Richt can play the "freshman" or "getting ready for the future card." Just my opinion on the quarterback politics behind all of this.

Yep. There was a reason I thought Shirreffs would be ahead of him last year. I was crucified here because I dared say the guy with few offers would be ahead of the savior. Williams, on the other hand, I see as a polished QB that came in ready. He's the future. He'll take the job, and it's only a matter of time. Perry is a sandlot legend. He's SUPER talented, but he's so **** raw he might not have enough years of eligibility to reach his potential.

I could really see Perry being an above average player in this offense.. eventually. The problem is he has a rocket but his throwing motion was too ****ed up in hs and he made poor decisions that he could get away with at that level. He is NOT a natural passer like Williams is, but could develop into a decent one with his arm talent. Sherriffs was a YUGE red flag last year with Perry.

On the first throw to Cager there was pressure in Rosier’s face. He might’ve had his arm hit a bit. I was watching on periscope so I’m not sure.

Yeah it was an awful throw, cager saved him there

@Loose Cannon you for real bro ?
I’m sitting here trying my best to understand why this same ***** who claimed to have played D1 football AND not been born in time to watch Ken Dorsey play is @ me right now?

Your lord and savior was 11-26 today, some of that against god**** walk-ons. You’re ready to lynch Rosier because he wasn’t a 65% pocket passer last season, but he was today and now you’re ready to suck off half the staff to get 42% Nkosi the job. He’s got potential you say? Potential to do what exactly? You think LSU is gonna trot out some walk-ons for him to practice against?

“But he looked more dynamic.”

******* call me when they start awarding points for looking dynamic. ****almighty. They give **** kickers a point or three. They give dynamic looking QBs not a god**** thing.

I’m cracking up. I didn’t get to see this live so I’ll have to rely on the coaches’ breakdown, but you ****ers gave me a good belly laugh today listening to all your **** excuses. Rosier averaged 13 per completion but only threw a few screen passes.

Sometimes when it’s a completion, it’s not really an accurate throw. And sometimes an accurate throw falls incomplete.

Ball hits Cager in the hands and Rosier—who was 6 for 6 prior—is that same inaccurate ******* he always has been. Perry starts 0-5 and completes one pass and is “catching fire.” Except then MI2 drops a Perry throw on his shoe laces and it’s time to cut his ***—don’t care who his daddy is—and rock with one TE.

I’m going to enjoy watching all you rotten twats cry like babies when Richt names Rosier the starter in September. I’ll wipe your tear-stained cheeks with sandpaper.

Just trying to clarify here. Do you think Malweak Rosier is a good QB or do you think that all the QB's on the rooster right now are underwhelming and he's just the safest bet of the 3?

Told you to message me about it a couple days ago bro but I'm ******* scared you're going to backwards research me and come to my house and butt **** my dog to let off tension about rosier based on this response I just got 😂

I’ll clarify that anyone who refers to Rosier as “Malweak” isn’t going to give him a fair shake no matter what, and you’d do anything to avoid actually discussing how he played today. Things like how I think or how you feel.

I think our defense is nasty and our offensive line still sucks dog**** through a straw, and that it’s not gonna make one **** bit of difference if it’s Jarron Williams or Doug Williams under center if we can still only manage to get 16 yards rushing against Pitt

None of these current QBs is getting you into the playoffs. It is what it is. Should be no excuses going in to year three, but people are really dug in on Rick.

Ok so once again. Just trying to clarify here. I don't give a flying rats **** juice what any of the QB's did today. I watched Malweak for the entire season last year and I know exactly what he is.

One more time for the dolts:

Do you think Malweak Rosier is a good QB or do you think that all the QB's on the rooster right now are underwhelming and he's just the safest bet of the 3?

Sure, if you want to ignore that at least 40 of those yards came against walkons and the rest was against the 2s for the most part as compared to Rosier going against the #1 defense who couldn't be blocked.
Not really sure why yall say that. They all got burn against the 1 & 2s. Walk ons didnt play much at all. They all faced the starting d not just malik. Nkosi faced the starters more than the rest from what i saw.

They mixed in a bit, Perry got more reps with the ones in the second half than he did in the first. Rosier from what I saw Played mostly with the 1s too.

I say it because on the final drive walkons were in. Perry hung one up to Langham and the walk-on couldn’t get over to make a play. It went for around 40 yards.

Rosier got sacked 4 times in that first half. All by first team DEs if I remember correctly. I’m sure guys were mixed in but Perry drives that resulted in points were against the 2s. The TD drive was for sure.
