Nothing to do with being a Nole at any point; everything to do with fragile ego, insecurity as a fraud and a full-blown Napoleon complex.

Manny thinks he can fix this by himself—hence retaking over the defense this year instead of hiring an alpha to do the job.

He can't handle former players looking over his shoulder and pointing out what he's doing wrong, or how he should be doing it. Of course he doesn't welcome any greats back into the program—while the admin props Ed Reed up there as a mascot and puppet.

Agreed, I'm just frustrated. I was never a fan of Ed Reed being hired in the capacity that he is. It was a celebrity position at that point that doesn't serve value. It only serves to tarnish a great name in Reed. Competent fans understand that this is not on Ed, at all. This is on Diaz and Blake.

The decision needs to be made sooner. Fans are ****ed, morale is low, toxicity is worsening. The announcers for the Michigan State game made it clear. Stated that we have the 2nd most talented roster in the ACC, stated that we continue to be a poor tackling team, stated that we are a poorly disciplined team.
