Miami opens as 3.5 point favorite vs. App. St

We win by no less than 17

Really?

Vegas is usually right around the final score. I doubt "no less than 17" is our floor in this game.

1st week

Colorado v Colorado st was only an 8 point spread / Colorado won by 33

Michigan v Hawaii was a 40 point spread, Michigan won by 60

Boise St v LaLafeyett was a 20 point spread, Boise won by 35

Oklahoma v Houstan was a 11.5 spread, Houston (underdog) won

Arkansas v LaTech was a 26 point spread, they only won by 1

Alabama v USCw was a 11.5 point spread, Bama won by 46

- you never know, but I'm confident the defense is going to make it hard for App St to score.

If you don't let the mortgage payment ride on this one then you're not a real fan of this team. This is Vegas checking our collective manhood. Canes 45 - Mountainqueers 17.

WOW!! Tad, you have me pumped up dude. I feel like letting my mortgage payment ride on this one. I need to see someone, thanks brother

This is a game Vegas is looking to make money on. Trendy pick so a lot of idiots will bite. Line is absurd.

I was talking to Lu about this--I was debating whether or not I'd go in at what I expected to be a 12-13 point spread. The number has thrown me off, to be honest. I'm usually not this wrong about where a game will open. On the one hand, it seems like a trap. But on the other, we really have sucked for so long that the general perception of our program is garbage, and I could see App St as a trendy upset pick. Still think this gets to at least 6-6.5 by kickoff.

But whatever, I'm in at -4.

Trying to get in at -4 myself because of what I mentioned earlier: I don't think their QB can hurt where we're most likely to be weak. Our **** online book is not currently showing this game.

We will most likely win by 7 but no reason to be overconfident on this one. It will be close till late when we wear them down.

App State: I watched them and they are GOOD ! And they're going to be sky high for the Canes,
who cannot have a sloppy 1st half like the FAU game. Anybody want to shoot me ?
Go ahead.

What are they good at?

playing teams tough and close

Who have they played tough and close besides tennessee? People give this team too much **** credit over one lucky *** win 10 years ago. They haven't beat a power 5 team since that game.

41-14 to Clemson must be "tough and close." Most posters are like the rest of the world. They hear a few media puppetheads pump up App Store, and they just keep repeating it.

That's why Vegas set the line where it did. They know all the goofy suckers out there have been duped into believing App Store is some giant killer even though they haven't beat a P5 team in 9 years.

The line is puzzling and troubling

I woulda thought it was more like 12 or 13

They should not be able to hang with us. I guess this is a reaction to the UT game
