They mis-analyzed for sure, but I think the thought process was that Fromm as a game manager got them to the NC against Bama and 1 quarter from a ship...They thought they could ride with Fromm for 1 more season then go to Fields...problem is that Fromm regressed and decided to stay for a senior season and Fields said deuces...bad overall decision, but there was some logic to it at the time.

UGA keeps throwing the ball only 13 times like they did last week, and I bet you could see a bunch of their WR's hit the portal after this season.....
 
Few weeks ago, Georgia was the pick. Since then, Georgia QB has been exposed and maybe their best defense player is out after motorcyle accident.

Under that logic, in 2018 when Georgia only scored 16 at home against an average LSU team then Fields must not have been worth a **** because Georgia stayed with Fromm.
 
Got to take a hard look at any talented QB hitting the portal. No idea how Beck has developed at UGA. But Lashlee should be all over that.

Kirby Dumbass wants a game manager QB, he doesn't give all the QB's a fair shake & everything is predicated on being a captain checkdown artist getting the ball to the RB's & occasionally throwing a Deep ball to the WR's.

He's a classic SEC Defensive minded coach that wants to run an ultra conservative super safe ball control style offense that pounds the rock all game. Rushing for over 200yds & throwing it as little as possible is his ideal game.

I lmao @ any 5-star QB signing to UGA without doing their research & checking the **** Depth chart.

I wouldn't automatically write this kid & just assume he's not good just because he's not playing, Kirby doesn't run a meritocracy at UGA, there's a lot of reasons why you might not play & skill/ability or lack thereof isn't always at the top of the list.

With that being said, if you're Lashlee you have to do your due diligence & leave no stone unturned when it comes to QB acquisition, so check him out & see if he fits with what you wanna do. Maybe he sucks & is another high ranked QB that busted in college, or maybe he's just another QB that got sold a bill of goods by Kibry Dumbass & hasn't got an opportunity to play, who knows?...

He must have missed Saban’s memo on the way out that offense and points win now. Saban moving towards the spread and away from Kirby’s current offense was pretty hilarious to watch. You could see how much it pained him in those early years, but eventually realized he had to go all in if he wanted to win. Kirby’s head is still up his *** and stuck in the past.

So what is Laslee's opinion of TVD? If we are in such a desperate need for a portal QB, then clearly they don't think TVD is the answer. And this is more than a depth issue.

Who said we are desperate? TVD is a TF and no one will know what he is until live bullets fly. Kosi is Kosi and has a year left. Matchoa may be a transfer candidate, King likely gone. Martell may switch to water polo. Always good to have a second option especially if you can get a guy with 2-3 years of eligibility left as quality comp/back-up.
 
Why does everyone always assume that if we bring in another QB, that means we don’t believe in TVD? Why does everyone just want to hand him the job? Do we not want him to work for it? Why is this the narrative EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Depth and competition is why we should bring in another QB, especially when three of your QBs are transfer candidates next year. I’m not just handing the job to anyone without seeing them compete for it

That's accurate; but conversely, if Beck is in fact transferring from UGA, arguably, he may want to go somewhere where he'll have an easier time being named starting QB. Competition is good and healthy. And Diaz has talked a lot about competition and having depth. But you also need guys that want to compete. If he's bailing on UGA, I'd be concerned unless there are other issues at play.

Issues are Kirby handles a qb room as well as a virgin handles a room full of pornstars

Where is King going? I mean it certainly wouldn't be the worst decision any of our players have made over the years in regards to declaring. But I don't think this year has cemented him as a high pick even if he is switching positions. His arm and accuracy aren't super impressive. And he certainly hasn't run the ball like I thought he would. I think he would benefit tremendously from another year with Lashlee.

He could, but for COVID however this would be his last year of eligibility. I agree he has not been all-world but unsure if another year changes that much. Some teams will take him off the QB board solely for height concerns but may consider him as a general athlete.
