The Canes have offered 2020 Alabama QB commit Carson Beck. The 6'4" 215 pound gunslinger resides in Jacksonville and the 4-star recruit also has an early offer from the Gators.

I think this offer was a personal attack on me.

Well played by Richt - Mother/Daughter Combo.

Just one problem.

We're too late.

QBs, more than any other position, are sensitive to getting early offers

They could of always offered at camp, and flow played him later on if they changed their opinion on him

The lazy Richts just assumed they were getting Max Johnson

Oh good I am glad we waited until after he committed to Saban, always an easy battle.

This kid is the goods might be the best 2020 QB in the country absolutely torched Columbus in the state title game was dropping absolute dimes would be a program changing QB. Might have a shot if he realizes the route to the starting job here is much easier than bama where he might have to ride the bench for a few years.

Day late/dollar short but he’ll be one of the best passers to come through Jax in a long time.

so he has to wait behind Tua's brother vs coming to Miami at a time when we should be competing in the ACCCG? Let's see how recruiting plays out because I think our skill talent will be every bit as good as Bama by the time he'll be ready to play.

Hopefully this helps in some form or fashion, big or small:

Similar to football
Yes, but baseball has been more consistent and our flagship program. Football may get more publicity, but Miami has been a baseball school far longer than a football one
