Miami is whats bad about College FB, dont need to be back

If this were UF, Tennessee or LSU he would be elated to have a team in the SEC winning with such swag! F him!

Most unbiased national media like Herbstreit and Desmond Howard will tell you that Miami being dominant is great for cfb.

I know, we rip the media for dissing the U, but in reality, they’re rooting for us. All the dissing of the U is nothing more than a frustrated girlfriend not asked to the prom cause the boyfriend isn’t ready. Nothing attracts viewership more than a dominating U program. If the U occupies the airwaves, gamadama becomes that girl in the bar at 2am.

Notre Dame's Brian Kelly shared the same sentiment during the Shapiro matter using slightly different words. He inferred that our kids are criminals and are not the "right kind of people".

Finebaum is SEC and Alabama State Media.

Miami being back and showing kids in the south that swagger again isn't good for them.

You know who else doesn't want Miami to do what they're doing? That company that outfits Alabama and Georgia. They really don't want to see Miami at their party.

Nike is 12/12 so far in the playoff. They don't want Wisconsin/Miami/Notre Dame taking 3 of those spots away from them.

If they aren't talking about you or hating on you then you are not relevant. Let Finebaum wallow in his misery and love it!

There is today and over the last 20 years a boiling hate by the media directed at the Canes every chance they get. At almost every level of ESPN their abhorrence of the "U" is impossible to ignore.

A number of year's back a CBS "journalist" did a brutal hit piece on the Canes. Later, when he was interviewed by Dan LeBatard he admitted that he had not spoken to anyone even remotely connected to the "U", had never stepped foot on the campus and his information was mostly gleaned via rumors. At one point during the interview the CBS hack became so flustered as to how pathetic he was being made to look due to his total lack of professionalism, he cried out that he was being unfairly set-up and attacked. Yeah, asking the clown to simply cite his sources was a real sucker punch!

I hate him.

He's never insightful and always condescending. Tough combo.

I think this is all the reverse psychology. they actually like us and pick against us b/c they know we'll come out with a chip on our shoulder and win.

It's hard to believe he said that, but if he did then he's just the MOUTH PIECE for the VAST MAJORITY, but not all, of the college football media-nexus ( Telly, radio and print. ) pundits. Nevertheless I give Paul kudo's for being frank, bold, STUPID and all that. Because the majority of college football pundits DON'T have the ' rocks ' to be so blatant with their Miami ' hate ' and what not.

His entire career is based on saying outlandish things to create dialogue. Good or bad dialogue doesn't matter.

Some tune in to just watch the next dumb thing he says. Some may agree with him, but this is nothing new in the media. He wouldn't be where he is now if he wasn't some polarizing figure.

Again, good or bad, the ratings go up. The death of any journalist is when people quit paying attention to what you say and quit tuning in. Don't react or give website hits, anything that will show you tuned in.

Want to see a clip to see the actual context, but it is also odd that he would say that knowing that we're a cherry primetime draw for his employer and their flagship college program is coming to our campus this week.
