We used to be alot of different U, but when the emphasis increased in last 15+ years we had guys here more focused on leaving early to league than actually winning games. Lately I believe it has had a negative effect and in those year we have been NFLU we havent won anything on college level, It permeates the program negatively where admin on coaching searches want "pro style" offenses without knowing what the **** that means, to players leaving early to be practice squad players at best.

I know talented kids and where they want to go comes with territory, and its good for recruiting to spout this type of stuff (TEU= Jordan/Mallory). But I just cringe at some comments how people seem to care more about nfl success than actually the thing that matters, balling and getting Ws at college level.

For opening rosters
Hurns, Benjamin, Dorsett, coley. Would have 5 if berrios wasn’t on injured reserved.

Guys like rashawn Scott and Malcolm Lewis are practice squad type players

Strictly number of players in the league at any given time does NOT make you "Position Group U." That notion is absurd.

Canes don't have the most RB's in the league right now. But they've got 5 guys in the top 41 all-time NFL rushers and at least one, if not two, that will be in the Hall.

You gonna say we're not RBU because we don't have the most RB's in the league RIGHT NOW?

Position Group U is about quality over the long term, not quantity at any one given moment.

Yeah but when you have 2 of the highest paid dends in the league it has some merit to it though. Vernon 85 million dollar contract and Campbell’s contract is up there to and was almost nfl defensive mvp last year

3 should...one of em is one of the 50 greatest Vikings of all time.

Our starters are elite. Just wish we didn’t have McCray as one of our only backups.

No argument whatsoever there. You're just reinforcing my point honestly.

My response was more to Feldman's original tweet, effectively indicating Ohio State is DBU because they have the most dudes on rosters RIGHT NOW, which is stupid.
 
Garvin, JJ, and probably joyner and Rosseau.

we will probably get AR, JT and all the freshmen in the nfl at WR.
