So tired of this narrative that players only come to Miami for money. As if LSU doesn’t have any money. Maybe they need to reallocate the funds from the children’s hospital to their NIL budget to get this guy.
My daughter wrapped up her gymnastics season.
In the past 2 years I’ve been to Denver, Greenville SC, Columbus, Gainesville, Louisville and we just got back from Knoxville.

From a pure natural perspective, beautiful places. Friendly people.
But no way do these towns compete with sofla.
I know this has been an ongoing discussion about “college town atmosphere” and “treated like gods” etc etc.

But let’s be honest. They’ve had to pay kids to go there and then they began winning. They’ve also been responsible for a huge media sec! sec! campaign about how much better the entire dahmm conference is than everyone else.
I’m not getting it twisted. We have to pay too. But for most young men 18-24 it’s not even close.

The cfb facilities arms race started for a reason and Nick Saban knew why it had to happen.

So you feel good about Haulcy being a cane?

I'm feeling better than I was a couple of days ago.

Certain folks STILL need to come to the realization that "price discipline" needs to be tossed at the end of the cycle.

It's like trying to buy up a bunch of real estate. There's a reason that holdouts tend to get "more".

With the upgrades in defensive coaching/personnel I expect the defense to jump to top 30 minimum.

Beck should be more than healthy/acclimated enough in this offense by the time September comes around and barring any serious injuries our offense will stay top 15/20

This system is QB friendly and until TVD decided to go Blind we had a very productive offense with a way worse Oline, and that is where it all starts.

People forget 2023 Beck was lethal, 2024 Beck was hindered by Mike ******* Bobo & receivers having stones for hands

I expect a version of 2023 Beck to show up this season.

I agree Stevo. But the lack of top portal additions negatively impacts the expected value and increases the Beta against an expected W/L record.

We were probably a 9 +/-2 going into the Spring portal. I don't think we've changed that much. If we land Haulcy and a couple others, it may go to 10 +/-1, which would be a massive pre-season improvement. We could have even gotten to 11 +/-1 with the perfect Spring haul.

We haven’t changed that much ? Our secondary is all new way better . We lost a dumb d cord , our lbs got better . I believe our younger WRs are better than what we had . Horton was unproven until this year . We **** sure got faster for sure . I can see our true freshman being play makers this year especially Toney . The issue will keeping upshaw next year if he doesn’t play much. I believe Carr will leave if he doesn’t play much this year

If we have a Top 30 defense, we will be in the Top 5 at the end of the regular season. We'll be 11-1 or better, I guarantee you that.

I'll believe that when I see it. I don't think Top 30 is a super realistic outcome. It's possible, but I think somewhere in the Top 40-50 is probably where we land.

Remember, if you look at only conference games, Miami gave up 30.8 PPG last season. That was NINETY-SECOND in the country. The same exact number as UVA and Northwestern. That's how bad this defense was.

If we can just get to ~40th, we're good.

Remember, Clemson won the league with the 38th best scoring defense. They gave up 22.8 a game in the ACC. We were at 30.8. A full 8 point difference. If we get 8 points better, we will be one of the 10 best teams in the country, zero doubt in my mind.
