I was referring to our roster pre Spring and post Spring portal window. I do not think we moved the needle at all so far, and we really needed to. We were a 7-10 win team going in we’re the same right now. Halcy probably makes it a 8-10 win team. Still need more talent to get to a 9-11 win team.

So he originally was scheduled to commit today (seemingly elsewhere )but we convinced him to visit and now he’s not committing yet - is that the proper timeline? Trying to catch up with everything

We would went undefeated in regular season and won the acc with a good d cord . Not sure what you’re talking about . We have a lot of talent our staff year was to stupid to use them right

Miami has to find a way into the Power 2 sooner rather than later. It’s the Power 2 or you are toast as a football program in the very near future

I'll believe that when I see it. I don't think Top 30 is a super realistic outcome. It's possible, but I think somewhere in the Top 40-50 is probably where we land.

Remember, if you look at only conference games, Miami gave up 30.8 PPG last season. That was NINETY-SECOND in the country. The same exact number as UVA and Northwestern. That's how bad this defense was.

If we can just get to ~40th, we're good.

Remember, Clemson won the league with the 38th best scoring defense. They gave up 22.8 a game in the ACC. We were at 30.8. A full 8 point difference. If we get 8 points better, we will be one of the 10 best teams in the country, zero doubt in my mind.

So let me get this straight....Hetherman can take Minnesota from in the 60s in Total Defense to #5 in one year but he cant take Miami that finished #27 in Total defense and improve.

I really look at facts....and the poster went with the statistics and rankings and you dont have to like it but thats the number.

I took the suck tax as, he’s the only stud at that position, so we need to overpay to get him. Not as we suck, so we gotta pay the suck tax.

Well those other two safeties entering help our situation . We’re not whiffing on them all especially the ten safety to fsu . Only way they get him if we don’t want him when it comes to broke fsu .

27th in yards allowed, which is shocking. Mario was touting that in the lead up to the CFP selection. But I’m sure he didn’t even believe it said anything informative about the D.

UM was 68th in scoring D and high 50s in turnover rate. I don’t know the ACC numbers, but it would be lucky to be a top 100 D in conference play. We didn’t stop anyone ever. We probably would not have been any worse trying onside kicks every time we scored.
