Miami Does Not Need A Portal QB In 26

Grind it out Mario will seldom have big enough leads to get these kids any real work, so the odds of us developing a guy is severely restricted. When we do, it's usually a waste.

They know what they have with Williams. Great kid, more experienced, but you know his ceiling and it isn't high enough. If QB1 goes down we're f*cked anyway, so those snaps should be going to Nickel who I'd wager they know next to nothing about.

They literally better know by the end of the last game.. Mario can’t afford to let the QB decision/portal take take long like he’s done in the past.

We must have a QB in place before we go after who ever we identify as WR1 to pair with Toney.

That **** has burn us 2 years in a row.

That incomplete pass to Jojo on the slant by Williams is all i needed to see -- he's still a quality back up

Then that deep ball by Nickel..... good lord
Yes, I was about to say that the first pass we saw from Nickel was about 10 yards underthrown. Maybe not fair to judge but that did make me say "yikes" . It certainly was not good enough to warrant this OP saying we are set.

There are QBs on the roster right now that can get the ball to guys and win games next year.

Dawson recruited these guys and I'm sure he can win with them.
uhhh you watched nickle under throw carr right???? i don't call not even being able to throw 30 yards able to get the ball to WRs.

Dawson recruited Judd and I believe Emery was a hold over from Manny, but the fact that those two quarterbacks are still on the roster proves that Dawson cant evaluate or develop a god**** thing at quarterback

Lol you absolutely have to have a high quality Portal QB every year these days times have changed if you want to compete. The backups on our roster not gonna get it done

That’s my quarterback
We need him in the slot, wildcat some, passing just enough to keep teams honest on his runs.

What we really need: elite QB and Moore/Trader/Upshaw/Carr to take the next steps. I’m also excited to see what Parris, Wingo, Stafford can bring to the table.

They see enough on Greentree to know what they have in the room.
