Miami-Dade County

It also appears to be a relatively weak draft class. Outside of Jeremiah Smith, who are the guys around the country that you look at and say he's a top 5 or top 10 talent? Talent in CFB appears down right now. (I started a thread about this a couple weeks ago.)

Mendoza winning the Heisman would be the call of the century from Dmoney. A lot of posters here should be forced to walk through the street naked in a Game of Thrones style shamming.
Count me in. I will gladly waddle my fat nekkid azs through Calle Ocho if Mendoza wins that award. I saw him in person in Berkely last year. He's a slightly above average college QB. He's not dynamic, nor is he a super athlete. I have nothig against the guy at all, simply pointing out that while the betting odds may be in his favor right now - IN SEPTEMBER - he won't win the award because he plays at Indiana and the secondary he plays next will likely not have SIX guys out like Illinois did last week. I just fact-checked that before I hit send.:

"Illinois began the game short at defensive back already, with all-Big Ten player Xavier Scott sidelined along with Jahiem Clarke and Ben Clawson. During the game, Illinois also at some point lost Kaleb Patterson, Mac Resetich, Matthew Bailey and Torrie Cox to injury."

So Mendoza had a career day against a bunch of inexperienced guys playing out of position. His other three wins were against Old Dominion, Kennesaw State and Indiana State. Yes, Larry Bird's Indiana State. He plays at Iowa this weekend, then at Oregon 2 weeks after that. I predict a pretty quick regression to the mean, which means adios Señor Heisman.

One caveat - I need immunity from prosecution.
Oh and no photos.

I wouldn’t mess with what we have but Beck still scares the **** out of me
Fair...always good takes from you...

Decision making?

Arm durability?

Mobility?

All of the above?

For me: not crazy about his touch on passes to check down options...they just seem off (though "catchable") more than they are on...he's also gotten away with a couple...big thanks to Toney and CJ for bailing him out...

Stone and Jackson - DTs at Oklahoma. Mateer at QB.

Im sure I could find some more OL and DL. Like the USCe DE, simmons?
Only Mateer of that list is draft eligible this year, just in terms of how it relates to the original point of why Mendoza is moving up boards.

I liked Mendoza more especially off the Beck injury . Beck scares the **** out of me at times . This past Saturday night is one of those Beck games I always stress about.
well it would help if we had one game this year without a heavy downpour to see Beck. the conditions havent exactly been ideal nor has some of the playcalling (i.e. ND).

Let’s see how Mendoza does at at Oregon and at Penn State
seriously this. he hasnt seen a single secondary nearly even close to ND or UF. on top of that, our other G5 game ended up against a ranked team who had beaten two prior ranked teams b2b with a 2 hour rain delay.

ATL, HOU, DFW, LA are hotspots ... but still would put SoFla at No. 1 for high end talent
