Miami considering hiring chief of football staff

Blake James has literally created this position to alleviate the burden of having to do his own job.

Hes going to hire some cuck shill to direct the football program which is probably the biggest part of his job. This person will essentially be one step over the head coach.

Instead of just having a competent athletic director and a competent head coach, we get to have a new, third position in the middle to complicate things even more. This position is to babysit the head coach and make sure he doesn't do stupid stuff. Instead of just hiring a good head coach who isn't constantly doing stupid stuff.

Imagine having the power and authority to create a new job that does half of your job for you, and ensures that you cant get fired for failing to do your job.

And who's at the top? Julio Frenk. The beacon of incompetence who wont hire a competent athletic director.

Jesus Christ.

You're not wrong, but at this point, I just want the bleeding to stop. Let's right the ship and then let the BOT's think about whether or not they need JB. So stoked for this!!!

About this football czar let’s say he will want to replace Diaz on day 1 will The BOTs allow it happen? Because if the answer is no it’s all smoke and mirrors.

This has the potential of another Miami Dolphin organizational chart train wreck. Recall when someone named Dawn was overseeing part of football ops and Mike Tannend*ck was overseeing well who the fvck even knows what he did..

I think the rumors and jumping to conclusions are getting out of control.

James is talking about a chief of staff that has chemistry with Diaz and hiring one eventually. Norvell just hired his own chief of staff at FSU.

How that tidbit from the interview instantly means Highsmith is now going to run the football team with any amount of control and autonomy over Manny Diaz is a huge leap of faith.

You saw that multiple outlets have reported this right? Including from Cleveland.

So it puts someone that is knowledgeable between the AD and HC? That sounds like a good plan.

Chief of Staff of Football Operations.

TRANSLATION: We in academia are beta cucks. We recognize...

1) CFB generates a **** ton of money that we despise you for, but will gladly take...

2) We long gave up with the charade that we, as beta cucks, had any type of say or control over alpha types

3) Since AD positions are filled more with beta cucks than alphas, we are slowly recognizing a problem with #1

4) By creating this new position, we will extend the illusion that we are in control, but we recognize the entire world will know this position is the most important in AD, including over the AD role

5) I look forward to using intelligent sounding words (i.e. intersectional, post-racial, patriarchal hegemony, etc.) in my press releases while the true alpha services my academic looking wife who is just cute enough to draw the attention for a quick bang by savage alphas like our Chief of Football Operations. I look forward to cleaning them both as I take my cuck duties very seriously because I'm so woke.

That's a basic description in a nutshell of why you will see every P5 program have this position in no more than 5 years time. In fact, B Kosar already proposed this (for himself) during the Golden years.

Indeed I have. Have they reported Manny would work for him? It seems everyone is jumping to the best possible conclusion. I’m more worried it’s not what we are all hoping for.
Use logic, if he's coming here, it's from way up top. Higher than flake, Manny doesn't have a choice

Dude, that what Chief of Staff means. Hire and watch over the personnel decisions of the organization

Yeah I agree that’s what we all want it to mean.

FSU’s head coach just hired their
Chief of Staff. I doubt Norvell hired the guy he reports to and is accountable to. Stroud has been reported to have been the Miami chief of Staff but then they needed a defensive line coach. I don’t think Stroud was Manny’s boss.

Blake James outright said the chief of staff would have to have chemistry with Manny.

Filling in the blanks leads me to believe that if a guy hired by James or by a combo of James and Diaz that has to have chemistry with Diaz he likely isn’t going to have full authority or autonomy no matter who he is.

I want Highsmith to run all football operations at the U and to answer to people above James, not have to be handcuffed to James and/or Manny Diaz.

Man some people on this site just find a way to complain about everything. How could you be upset about Alonzo Highsmith possibly becoming Chief of Football Staff?

Just read the latest in the Herald and the quotes James is giving actually read like someone who is in real trouble of losing their job. Whatever cavalier way he treated the football team before, it appears that he finally understands (to a point) what football means to the athletic brand of the overall university. Lo just might save his job, but it will only work if he has control over the team's personnel decisions and not Manny or Flake.

Are we going to have another “great offseason” just to **** the bed again? Not getting excited about anything until I see something start to happen on the field next season. I fell for it last off season, but not again.
