I'm going to ask a simple "stock price" question, for all the "but Nike's stock price" geniuses.

WHO LOSES MONEY WHEN THE STOCK PRICE GOES DOWN?

Nike?

Or the shareholders of Nike?

Thank you. Do we need a second lesson?
Well usually the stock price goes down because the company is losing money, isnt making as much money as they projected, or isn't making as much money relative to their competitors.... Generally. So yeah Nike doesn't lose money if their stock goes down, but it's usually a reflection of the business not doing as well....

But it's irrelevant for The program, so who cares.

He really say this lol
Kirk been one of THE LOUDEST to get us back to Nike, He started his career covering early 2000 Canes so he always see us as a Nike team.. He was on national TV letting it be known, he spoke that **** to existence again MULTIPLE times.. lol

Show me the money. Also idk if it was ever true, but I heard that the adidas deal had a stipulation that every subsequent contract if the aav passes us that our cash payment would automatically be equivalent to that.

Nike paid us so we sign with them, idc about merch tbh. Sign our athletes and put them as the face of marketing and give us money. Side note, this should be a real boost for basketball, adidas did hamper us there.
Adidas didn’t hamper us in basketball, that’s a complete myth. Jai Lucas recruited well with Adidas, Coach L took the program to unprecedented heights with Adidas. It’s not the logo, it’s the resources and people that matter. As long as Coach Lucas is doing his thing, Miami basketball will be fine.

This.

And spoiler alert - there are going to be Nike things that they put us in that will suck. It's gonna happen. It might be the main uniform, it might be an alternate - ****, it might be fine for football/basketball but sucky for baseball or something.

Will those who are ride or die Nike join us to call those things out when they inevitably do happen? Or are they going to tell us that clams and palm fronds are just that new 🔥, bruh? Let's wait and see.
#1 rule for Nike imo: Don't ******* touch our helmets, unless it's a Black Alt or a minor White Alt tweak or like a Camo/Flag U colorway... That was by far and away the ugliest thing about their last uniform for us. The ornament helmets were a disgrace. The OBJECTIVE WORST thing we have ever been given by any apparel provider....

You think Geo had the Intel and D$ didn't? ..... Ok

Idk why y'all act like Adidas uniform we have haven't been extremely good since Richt. Really strange. Like I get not liking the neon nights alt or maybe the camp one cause pants should have been black.... But y'all tripping. Nike needs to release their version of our current uni for us next yr. I think we should get a green 06 and white 01, but if our current design is our standard uni going forward, why wouldn't people be happy?
So basically your argument is this: I think the uniforms are good, but you don't. And I'm always right. Par for the course on this site, brother.

Secondly, D$ claims to have the exclusive news breaking on CIS podcast, and lately that hasn't been the case. No breaking news on Lyle, injuries, and now Nike/Miami deal. That's the synopsis of my comment, not the **** you wrote.

Yes the uniforms DESIGN is objectively great currently, and if you disagree you are wrong.

D$ has the info, he just doesn't share it with us because he is closer to state media now and has been sucked into the Mario way of thinking believing everything needs to be treated like top secret otherwise it'll be a detriment to us on the field, acting like an opponent knowing about an injury is what would cause us to lose....

It’s not impossible to be good bball school with adidas. It has great coaching and good funding that has propelled us. Shoe game is a bigger deal in BBall than sponsorships in football. So it’s harder to attract Nike athletes especially the one and done kids who just ride whoever is the baddest Nike school.

This unlocks a new door, that’s all I’m saying.

All I know is that I'm about to buy so many NKE shares when it hits 10$, that when that sumbitch is trading at 50/share, don't be surprised to see an AJCane8 patch on our brand-new swoosh jerseys.

You literally have no idea why stock prices go up or down. You might be one of the most business-ignorant posters I've ever seen posting on this board.

1. "because the company is losing money"

2. "isn't making as much money as they projected"

OK, what if you ACCURATELY project that sales and profits will decline due to market conditions and/or competition? You literally don't know ANYTHING about forecasts and projections in a publicly-traded company.

3. "isn't making as much money relative to their competitors"
