Memnon blink twice if you're ok

I'm not as optimistic as some of yall.
At some point our inability to run the ball consistently and Cam's propensity to force plays instead of taking wide open guys that are 5 yards in front of him are going to eventually bite us in the a$s.

If and when Cam is playing within the system, I'm not sure there's anybody in the nation that can stop us. However, Cal is the 3rd game in a row where Cam started rocky.

I will say this though, I love the fact that BOTH sides of the ball come together at halftime and make adjustments.

Perfect demonstration of what works for us and what doesn’t in the run game. 1st clip its a light box..why? Our formation doesn’t tell them hey we’re gonna run here get ready lol. And we create a numbers advantage from that by pulling mccoy, also great blocking from arroyo and jacolby

2nd clip basically says he look its a run, look at the different reactions from the defense at the snap in both clips. The first clip the safety takes a step back first because he’s worried about the pass, 2nd clip he knows its a run and takes multiple steps up into the box **** literally everyone takes a step up and the dline shoots the gap for a tfl

All im saying is our pass game is literally the best by far in the country, leverage it like the first clip. Teams shouldn’t know that easily pre snap what we gonna run. Thats why the argument about teams respecting the run or stacking the box doesn’t make sense to me..We literally tell them when we’re gonna run of course they run commit

My bigger issue than the running game is your point about Cam. Coming back from down 10 and down 25 is amazing, but the fact that we were down 25 to Cal is disturbing. Much of the VT issues were Cam forcing passes down the field, and his unwillingness to take check downs and run the ball himself until the 2nd half of both games.

I think UM can be great the defense needs to be better prepared to start games and we need 2nd half Cam in the 1st half of games.

I’m not too concerned with the running game. I think it’s there when/if we want it.

What worries me is our defense. This is shades of 2003. Waste of a championship side of the ball (in this case, offense) bc the other side of the ball is not to the level.

In TrumpyCanes opinion a ****** offense holders lord these say than ****** defense

it kills me when we got guys running wide open for AT MINIMUM a 5 yard gain and this dude looking downfield like jacory harris
