Not crucifying Campbell for a bad game. He’s a first round CB. And Stevenson is just as talented. Sign me up for players of their skill level.
-------------------------------- solo tackles Int PD FF
DJ Ivey season stats. -------- 17 1 2 0
Al Blades Jr ----------- 19 2 7 0
Tecory couch (1 start) ----- 16 1 3 1

Tyson Campbell (7 starts) ---- 12 0 4 0
Tyrique Stevenson (7 starts) ----- 17 0 3 0

So these two guys sitting on a loaded defense can't even produce numbers as good as Ivey but they are elite?? ok sure ... Like I said they are both JAGS

I hear you but you can make a case that the talent gap between SEC Receivers and ACC receivers and the overall offensive play does play a significant factor. You’re telling me if Stevenson comes here he won’t lock up Wake forest, NC State and Pittsburgh receivers as opposed to him playing against Bama, LSU, Auburn and UF receivers?

If we don’t land one of these boys or an elite target by feb I want Rumph gone by March.
Even if he does, Diaz still needs to shake up the Defensive staff.

Now (January 2021) is the perfect time to go get a real heavy hitter like T-Rob & put him on this staff.

Look no further than how our RB & WR recruiting increased drastically once we got rid of dolts like Thomas Brown & Taylor Stubblefield.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over & over again expecting a different result.

We need a new strategy & new blood recruiting CB's, Baker, Patke & Rumph are an anchor & chain tied to a race horse, as soon as Diaz wises up & bolsters his Defensive staff this team will take off even faster & go further than we already have thus far this season.
