I have no problem with this move...the problem I have is the staff giving him snaps over more talented players....just like they did before.
False , no way I give up 500+ yards rushing.....twice.Manny is Cribby and Cribby is manny!
Absolutely agree!! The title made me think he was coming back to play LBer and I was like, "Oh crap, here we go again with playing older guys in a position that hurts the team." But, with our starters at DE leaving for the league, McCloud playing rush end is a really good thing! He'll actually be contributing instead of being the cause for giving up major plays.I can bump posts since he was a Fr where I thought it was his money position. He had an unreal get off and had the size /frame. He was never a lb, change of direction wasn’t lb quality.
As @252cane mentioned he always looked good blitzing here. Add a little weight , put in rotation as rush specialist , eat st’s snaps and emergency lb if all our lb’s are kidnapped.Absolutely agree!! Yep. I mean, the truth is, he could potentially play himself into a draftable position by just playing on 3rd downs and racking up 8 or 9 sacks over a 13 game season. As @252cane mentioned he always looked good blitzing here. Not in 2021 but will be fun to see teams get back under 85 for the 22 season with all these transfers. It’s not like we will ever have 85 again so why not
THIS. He's definitely not a traditional LB, but if he can get up to about 250 and play the Rush End / OLB role then good for him.He has looked good in his career coming off the edge blitzing. I always thought he would be a solid 3-4 olb. He is already 235. He probably could add another 10-15 before the season
This was depressing to read because guaranteed it will happen smhWith our D coaches they'll probably put him at DE then drop him into coverage on a slot receiver while blitzing both safeties and think they're outsmarting everybody.
You Sir, are a smart man! Carter is less likely to get penalties because he can be close to the action at LB.Good, and put Carter at LB
I think Carter gotta go to the Australian Rugby league. Or perhaps the WWE.Carter gotta go to LB
