Maybe if you win I'll be on time...

I agree. It’s not because I’m “taking sides” with Kelly, but her comments were immature and petulant considering what her job is.

Having said that, I’m getting some really bad vibes from him with regard to his tenure at LSU. It’s just kind of an instinctual feeling I have based on watching him during the game, and seeing his overall demeanor over time, something just seems really off to me. In addition to the fact that I don’t think he’s a “fit“ in Louisiana, I just get the sense that he’s not happy in the slightest. Seems almost depressed.
That’s a good way to put it

What an odd way to start off your first post game conference

Not to play armchair psychologist but it seemed like a way he could take control of the situation and put them on the defensive after a tough loss

It’s like sociopath behavior

It’s just a gut feeling I have, but I think the guy is miserable there.

The problem is he thinks he's Nick Saban or Urban Meyer. Those guy can be jerks because they win and ultimately, players, programs, and administrators put up with it because they win. But Kelly? Yes, he's a solid head coach with a proven track record but he's not in that category either.

Maybe you're a professor and you don't work in the business world, but I've seen that type of "clearly a joke" a million times. And it's almost always by one of the people with the most power in the room trying to rub his ballsack all over the person with the least power in the room.

If you haven't experienced that type of passive-aggressive bullying before, you need to leave academia and get to work in a real-life situation.
exactly

I'll just keep on saying it: Kelly will get rid of assistants, and will make the hires to get better. He did it at ND, and he will have a blank check to do so at L$U.

This press conference would have been perfect if she threw a shoe at him, maybe next time...

Is it okay to just hate everyone in that room?

Brian Kelly for a lifetime of obvious reasons. Any member of the SEC "media" for essentially the same.

I actually don't think he's ever going to figure it out there despite the resources and the local recruiting. Reminds me a lot of Chip Kelly. Dude needs a good fit and this place ain't gonna be it and it's going to be glorious to watch it burn.

I'll judge him the season after he cleans house. If he doesn't win 10+ that year, he's cooked.

Lol. I am definitely not a professor. My name doesn't stand for anything. It's just random letters put together.

Kelly has terrible delivery when it comes to humor. Look at how he delivered the team execution joke last year or the year before. It was obvious he was kidding around in that clip. Whatever his motives were for the joke, you all can feel free to see it as deep as you want.

The guy is a douche, the reporter was extremely unprofessional. Both things can be true.

Agreed. I think he is an a-hole but that aside, his track record tells me he is not stubborn and will adapt and figure it out. Lots of football left to be played. Time will tell. If i am wrong then so be it but it is hella early.

"I know Brian Kelly likes to joke. He clearly took it as one from our conversation afterward. All in good fun, fam," she said.

Not sure how 11:57 is late unless they have to be 10 minutes early or something? Either way, she totally didn't contradict herself with her statements and she said fam so that makes it all good somehow.
