Matt Rhule

47-43 career record

No thank you
Not much different than Jimmy Johnson pre Miami

And better than Dennis Erickson, except for his years at Idaho. BTW you look at the Washington record and ask how he got the Miami job

Everybody moans and groans about successful P5 candidates when two of the greatest were far from that.

No thanks.

We’ve had enough Temple at this program.

Matt Rhule is fools gold, he literally had one good season at Baylor & immediately finessed that into a NFL gig, that he really didn’t deserve in the first place.

If/When James Franklin leaves Penn St he’d be a good fit with them, but keep him as far away from Miami as possible, he’s Al Folden & Manny Diaz combined.
He would get any inner city kid he wanted if (i) that kid did not have a dad or a good dad influence in his life, and (ii) the kid's mom wanted him to have that. Ruhle is a great coach and a great man and his kids love playing for him. Miami would be out of its mind lucky to have Ruhle.

Spot on. I bet that Pedo State job is going to come down to Rhule vs Schiano if USC still has interest in Franklin.

Neither are good fits here- especially Rhule.

Ok, this makes a lot of sense. He's eagerly gonna walk away from a 7-year, $60 million deal and hunker down in South Florida coaching the Canes.

Strongly, strongly disagree.
