I said western countries, I would not classify countries with extreme deep socialist (actual socialism) and communist history and influence as such.

But thats obviously subject to disagreement, thats how I personally feel about these two examples.

I can also see that I could have worded myself better, as I see western in more of a ideological way rather than a geographical.

Majorly restricted. I could wrote a lengthy article about them, but, as @Empirical Cane can testify, German laws are notorious for being long (pause) and complex in structure.

Needless to say, its one of the most worked out laws we have. It's extremely comprehensive and there isn't a thing that hasn't really been addressed. Not only does it include firearms of any kind, it also includes other weapons such as knives to a certain extent.

Only way you can have a gun really is by being in a shooting club, you have to lock your gun in a certain, state-allowed safe, there are regular background checks, you can only buy, own and carry so much ammunition, carry and owning are legally separated and explained... you get the drill.

Shooting incidents really only come down to people having access to guns whilst being in a shooting club. The Winnenden killers father was a member of a shooting club, for example.

I hate to tell you that by your strained and inherently illogical criteria, the USA has a recent history and current status of extreme deep socialist and communist influence.

Or are you unfamiliar with "democratic socialism"?

Women are not equal to men. Never have been, never will be. That’s not a dig against women, it’s biology. That should be celebrated not ignored.

I proposed only people who pay federal income
tax should be able to vote in federal elections.
