This would be wild. I literally have a picture of this kid committing to UM coaches at his school. lol.

The amount of money A&M is throwing at him must be insane. Like well into the 2s.

Between this and Stone, I’m done with the recruiting prognosticating.

Going more than one recruiting cycle without signing a legit WR, recruiting a QB from Arkansas who the best anyone can say was that a baseball prospect, and so on.
All coaches miss out on prospects. We have many players that Saban, Kiffin, Smart, and the ohio state coach coveted. It is how the coaches rebound from the misses.
Butch Davis missed on many players at UM, yet he was able to build the most talented program ever seen in college FB.
Coker was the opposite.
Thus far, I don't see evidence that Mario is closer to Coker than Butch.

I stopped getting caught up in this stuff with high school recruiting at least a year ago, maybe longer. Aside from the portal, NIL has changed tons. If a decent program with a massive bag makes a bigger offer, chances are that kid goes there. Our HC can’t control that. People are retarded getting mad and crying about Mongo not delivering or whatever. If the money’s close he gives us a great chance at players.

It’s the usual suspects.

They landing and are in a lot of elite recruits top schools. They can’t be paying that much more than everybody

I'm with you.
I don't even watch highlights of prospects until they have signed with UM. I ignore commits and certainly don't have time nor interest in watching clips on a kid that may not sign with the good guys.
