Mark Fletcher commits to Miami and a discourse on the history of greatest NFL runnings backs

Good talk. Appreciate the discourse.

Henry's had a weird NFL career in comparison to other great pro backs because he didn't really get going until his third season...so the games/years is a weird metric for him. Most of these other great NFL backs shoot out of the cannon right away and are instant impact...Henry, not so much. Considering his volume in HS and then in his one season in college and now during the prime of his career...we may look back on those light workloads in Years 1/2 at Bama and Tennessee respectively as a reason he is able to have a longer NFL career when similar backs in his era long expired.

This thread is off-topic at this point anyway, but Barry Sanders getting a light workload in HS and college has always been one of the reasons I thought he was able to be so successful/durable in the NFL.

FWIW - if we were having a "who is the best NFL running back of all time?" discussion, my answer has been Barry Sanders since he played. He was awesome.
The “workload” angle is an interesting one

I watched a lot of Frank in San Francisco and as much as I despise Jim Harbaugh, Harbaugh and Greg Roman really helped extend Franks career by a few years. The way he was managed there was exactly how you would hope especially since Frank needed a bit more longevity to get into the HOF discussions

Not taking anything away from his heart and desire of course, but it was a perfect situation for him there. A pleasure to watch

It changes often lol... I've gone through more amps and guitars than I'm proud of lol.

Back when I used real amps I used these quite a bit (for big and little gigs):

Since then I've moved to modelers, first a Helix, now a Fractal (not pictured):

Show me yours as well!
That is a BADASS setup. I watched a JHS YouTube video the other day where Josh revealed he has been using a modeler on the channel for a year and nobody noticed!

I’ve got a few 80s Ibanez blazers and roadstars — swapped the pickups out on all of them — and three Budda twinmaster combos (a 1995 1x12 and 2x10 and a Peavey 10th anniversary 1x12). Too many pedals to count but I love the new Keeley Halo (Andy Timmons). Pictured are a 1980 blazer with a Duncan Hendrix (neck), Dimarzio vai (middle) and lace holy grail (bridge), and another 1980 blazer with a 1973 fender wide range in the neck and a 1972 Gibson in the bridge.

The pedal problem is real:

Bo would have been in the Tier 1 of all-time greats had Tampa Bay traded his rights and he been a full time NFL RB.

Awesome! Love the natural finish on those Roadstars. I just learned about the Halo, sounds freaking amazing. Timmons did a video with That Pedal Show, was really amazing. If you haven't check it out - he's a monster.

I think all the Cedric Baxter love really watered down peoples opinions of Fletcher over the past year. This time last year he was considered a "must have" by many. This kid has proven to be a stud and even though hes not Baxter...he's a **** good pickup and I think he will do great behind this newly revamped OL. Excited to have him in O&G.
