I mean when you say stuff, it comes across dumb as **** but you’re still here…somehow.
Have you bought tickets for the ACC Championship Game yet?

I understand the assertion made by @nystateofmind because we're in a different climate with kids and parents but I'd still end up siding with you about this philosophy can't be predicated on wins and "earning the right".
Because how would that actually work sequentially? You humor any disgruntled parent or "mentor" until one day you've had enough success and can tell them to "f off"? Well at that point humoring them has obviously worked for you so then why even change your philosophy?
Really?
You don't think that's his regular Zoom call with South Florida media?
Good lord, we need to find some better fans in the Portal.
Earned the right ? It could’ve been a homeless meth addict saying it and they’d still be right. If you have issues with somebody in an organization talk to them straight up like a grown adult. Not running to social media acting like a teenager. It’s sad behavior. Talk to the coaches , if you don’t like the conversation go elsewhere. It’s needless drama.
Same to you. I retired from the Navy last year, 20 years and 1 month.Thank you for your service!!! I just recently retired from the Army. I was born in 81 and you are spot on!!!!
How do you know they didn’t already speak to the coaches before going public?
Mario never implied they didn’t. He simply said if a parent wasn’t happy they could pull their player out.
Well listen Mario, you’re not Nick Saban. You’re not Bill Belichick.
You’re a .500 career coach who got fired from FIU and lost to Middle Tennessee this year.
You haven’t earned the right to strong arm or bully anyone.
The proper response would’ve been: “My door is always open for parents to discuss whatever issues or concerns they may have regarding their kids - football or non football. That’s something that gets handled privately + in house and I’m not going to comment on this specific instance. I’ll only repeat that my door is always open”.
Instead he tries to be a tough guy.
Baseless pablum from a psuedo macho man.
Apologies if posted elsewhere. Mario has made some obvious mistakes this year but I think this is spot on. Establish this as the standard of how this program will deal with outside distractions of this nature and stick to it. It'll serve us better in the long run.
This is fine when Saban says it. He’s earned the right.
When Mario says it, it comes across as obdurate.
Goes without saying. He's too fat to run.
I think the point she/they/it was trying to make is when you lose to MTSU and Duke you don't get to be picky. The only problem with that is it's a ****** stupid *** point.
And people think there isn't a culture problem, when you have players who are comfortable walking out of practice and quitting on the team![]()
Many believed his return would be recrudescent; here we are.Hey, everybody, look at me, I use pretentious words like obdurate.
Reread my post , start with the last couple sentences, that’s called being an adult. How do you know they didn’t already speak to the coaches before going public?

In the past few seasons, he’s been contacted by USC (allegedly), Auburn, Florida & I’m sure others. Add in what Miami ponied up to pay him & what Oregon was willing to go up to (rumor was $10 million)..Well listen Mario, you’re not Nick Saban. What’s that supposed to prove? Has Mario even recruited a full cycle of kids yet?
We need to start giving people IQ testsReread my post , start with the last couple sentences, that’s called being an adult.
