Manny on WQAM

The defense needs to do better against the run. That's an inherent weakness of an aggressive defense, but not insurmountable.

At least Manny sees the big issues with the offense. Let's hope he finds the right person to address them.

The team as a whole was a complete failure. This situation called for a complete house cleaning, not a light dusting.

We all wanted Mork to fire Jon, Brown, Searels, etc and hire a new offense.

Then we lost Diaz

Then RICHt told us no changes on offense

Then Wisconsin happened

Now we’re back to Manny and our defense

But we’re getting the new offense ... we better

this is what i dont get, all season we wanted richt to keep diaz and change the offense and that's exactly what we're getting now. Yet, everyone's mad? People just wanted the big name at HC, but that's never been Miami. Johnson, Erickson, Butch, none of those guys were big names when they started here but the became big names while they were here.

So Hartley who is ranked as one of these Top Recruiters in the nation should be fired. You do realize that if you fire him there is a good chance you loose either Jordan or Mallory or possibly both.....
If those guys are here for the coach and not the U. They can go kick rocks. We'll recruit other tight ends.

Agreed, this move is essentially what we wanted from Richt, except Manny is fiery and more aggressive. I’m confident on this hire as long as he hires the best offensive staff

Diaz's football talk-game is among the best -- listening to him, you'd think he invented football. But his talk doesn't match: not in his recruiting results, not in his staff selections, and not in his struggles against good offenses.

Nothing says he should be any better as HC than he was as DC. We might have a more exciting and explosive offense, and not lose to the Dukes and UVAs, but we will continue to be miles behind the elite programs.

**** near every defense struggles with good offenses. That’s why the elite teams have to bring their own offenses to the game.

Michigan gave up 60 to Ohio State and 40 to Florida. But y’all swear Don Brown is the best in the business.

The offense has to help the D in today’s game, IMO.

From his comments about having a guy at qb who the locker room believes in and believe can lead the team to wins makes it pretty clear the team didnt believe either of rosier or perry was that guy

Or that his Defensive guys didn't have any faith in them that's for sure. Let alone how ****ed his D was of teams starting at the 40 every drive!

I'd love to see him answer this question...lol
"Manny, how do you feel about punters and our current situation?"

Exactly, most on here myself included wanted to bring in an awesome offensive coordinator to work opposite Mannys defense. That’s exactly what we are going to get if he nails the oc hire

some of us wanted the entire staff including Mister Necklace fired.

some of us realized the problems with this team go far beyond an offensive coordinator.
