Manny Navarro on Jaccuri

I know some of yal really like Jacurri but Norvel would be able to get a QB better then him. We have Jacurri now and I'm hoping he's not starting for us next year.

First of all, he didn’t say that this is what’s actually going on.
He literally said that he has no inside information and he’s just a reporter and gives his opinion. He said that no one in the program has told him anything about J Browns status with exception that he’s redshirting. He’s also perplexed on why he hasn’t been out on the field at any capacity especially since he can’t burn his redshirt now even if he starts both games.

He said that he believes the most logical explanation on why he hasn’t played appears to be that he doesn’t want to get hurt and go onto the transfer portal.
Similar to what King did.

But just as many insiders are saying that J Brown ain’t leaving.

I’m not trying to defend him, but the way this post started made it seem like he was actually telling everybody the facts about brown when it’s just him guessing just like we all are.

Jacurri is a great kid and has not made waves . There’s more than just projected performance as a reason why we haven’t seen him yet this year.

Comparing Jordan Travis and Jacurri is not reasonable. Nor is being concerned about Norvell’s or anyone else’s potential impact on him as a QB. All of a sudden we need to fear a coach who went 8-13 in his first two seasons there and was the subject of getting the boot by some of their most in$luential people.

So if Dawson tells him to get on the field, he is telling the coaches he won't play because he's transferring? I'm confused why a desire to transfer would affect a coach's decision to use him or not.

If this is true, it'll make me think differently about JB.

Instead of playing (even if it is situationally), he prefers to be kept out of the game, because he plans to leave and does not want to risk getting hurt.

Is this what I am reading? Or is this decision on the coaches? or os this just a bunch of bull****?

I'll hold off until I know for sure.

Something is up, though.

Just listened to Navarro discussing Jaccuri and he said the only reason that Miami isn't playing him is because he's transferring and doesn't want to get hurt before entering the portal. Basically that's the only plausible reason that he hasn't played. Actually makes a lot of sense. One place I would not want to see him is FSU. If Norvell did what he did with Travis imagine how good Jaccuri would be.
David Lake said on his pod this is BS.

A slight clarification... Navarro said that he did not know why Jaccuri hasn't played (he admitted several times that he has no sources at Miami) but that Jaccuri not wanting to risk getting hurt if he had decided he wanted to transfer would certainly make sense. He compared it to potentially being like D'eriq King at Houston (although I think King shut it down to preserver his redshirt if I recall correctly), but again... Navarro said he was not sure and that was just one possible reason that seemed to make the most sense to him.

I realize you say 'that's the only plausible reason' in your second sentence, but I imagine that most who did not hear the podcast would think that Manny said that IS the reason he isn't playing after reading your post.

Would take norvell two losing seasons with Jacurri to be good and by that point he would be canned so send him up there
