Manny Navarro on Jaccuri

All I can say is that if Brown transfers out, we sure as **** better have something in play with a transfer replacement.
Brown is a tremendous athletic talent, and although he might not be the best option as a passing QB right now, he will have success in the right system or even with an OC that can adapt to what he can do.

Regardless, we have a lack of depth at QB right now, especially in guys that we can trust to lead our team behind our OL, backfield and WR core.

Let’s face it, if either Jacurri or Emory were actually very good TVD would’ve been benched 2 starts earlier… our whole QB room can leave for all I care. No one in that room is winning us jack ****
Thank you. The mouth breathers on CIS + David Lake/Morbid Manny are banging the table for Jacurri lost the plot long ago when they thought this kid would be able to move the needle. There's a reason why the staff refuses to play him..

In the Canes pod world manny might as well be on OBB

If it isn’t D$ Pete or Lake saying that on a pod it’s probably fan fiction

Nightmare if TVD and Jacurri both decide to sit out the bowl game. Then what — B. Smith or a walk-on?

At this point, I’m rooting for that to happen

How the most important position in sports has turned into a dumpster fire at Miami under Mario ****es me off

yeah it doesn't really work that way,if he was refusing to play he would have been kicked off the team. he MIGHT transfer, but it won't be an elaborate all-season plan, coaches wouldn't have put up with it

why is it so hard for people to believe that emory and TVD are better than him? the coaches see them all participate every day in practice... we got a whiff of jacurri last year and it wasn't spectacular, he just isn't as good as the other two
We all saw him play last year and the most obvious answer to me is that the coaches (correctly or not) believe Emory and broken TVD give them a better chance.

Now in regards to not wanting to play so he can transfer... I don't think that is the reason, but if the coaches told him that he realistically doesn't have shot to be the starting QB at Miami and he said 'ok, I will stay and work with the team but don't want to go in unless it is an emergency and all of the other QBs are out'... I could see the coaches respecting that if the concern was to keep a year of eligibility, but he does not have to worry about that anymore and he does not seem like the type that would hold himself out b/c of a fear of being injured.

Just listened to Navarro discussing Jaccuri and he said the only reason that Miami isn't playing him is because he's transferring and doesn't want to get hurt before entering the portal. Basically that's the only plausible reason that he hasn't played. Actually makes a lot of sense. One place I would not want to see him is FSU. If Norvell did what he did with Travis imagine how good Jaccuri would be.

This info wasn't for you all, it was for Uncle Luke.

I thought the same thing at first as it really is the only thing that makes sense. Then I started thinking there’s no shot Mario just lets the kid remain on the roster like that. It truly is an insane situation that I don’t have an answer for lol.

Didn't someone pretty reputable recently post something like "It's almost come pick up your kid season"? Is this who they were referring to?

Norvell is an excellent offensive coach. I agree that he could really turn Jaccuri around. Look at Jonny Wilson and Jaheim Bell and the way Norvell schemes them open. I see him using Jacurri in similar fashion.

I don't know that you really need to "scheme" a 7 foot WR open. He's just open.
