Statistics and analytics are an incredible useful thing....if you use it correctly. Judging a teams effort by how many players clocked 20 mph tells me he has no idea how to use it. If you can give up 800 yards of offense while giving effort you have Div III type talent and coaching on defense

Rumph being a trash recruiter doesn't get Manny Diaz trash scheme off the hook. Good Corners or not.... UNC still had two Runningbacks go over 200yrds... We still lose against any team that's worth beating. The only good team Manny beat in 5yrs is Notre Dame. Every other good/great team curb stomped us. Fire Manny and Rumph. Bring me a defense where we play press man at the line of scrimmage. A defense with speed in the back end... A LB Coach who can teach our LBs how to take angles. A defense not asking Safeties to play corner. A defense that set the edge every play.

That's not Manny... Manny needs to go the whole Defense. Banda should only stay as someone who helps with recruiting. No on the field position.

Agree. The issue isn’t effort. It’s poor LBs coached poorly and a defense designed to smash 3rd and long 7step drops.

Our DEs don’t set edges and our front 7 as a whole don’t maintain run gaps. Works against scrubs but any competent running team with a QB who can dump it above 55% will crush us. See Wisconsin.
