Manny Diaz New DC

How much did LSU pay aranada? Im hoping it was a crap ton for us not to get him, i know i said i was ok with the hire now im a little meh about it

His is exactly the type of defense that best suits south florida athletes. Blitzes like crazy...almost too aggressive for some (not for me). we will injure some QBs in the coarstal with our attacking cover 2.

Richt has had to fire his DC twice for being ineffective. Does he really know what he's doing on that side of the ball?

I dont need to look at film to see how miserable he was at UT, or how average he has been everywhere else. The guy is NOT a good DC.

He is definitely the anti-Dorito. Our guys will be in initial shock until they figure out it is ok to actually move forward instead of back pedal or hold ground.

That's how everyone is. Al brought in a DC from Temple and an OC from a school where he wasn't allowed to call plays. And everyone wants to keep our WR and RB coach that came from coaching in HS.

Now we've replaced most the assistants with SEC caliber coaches and everyone wants to *****. Old coaches approach was passive, never got pressure on the qb, and everyone want him gone for someone more aggressive that runs a 4-3. Now they hire the aggressive 4-3 coach and everyone is ****ed off...

This times 10. The only butthurt people in this thread : a) have no real knowledge of schemes and the talent required to execute said scheme, 2) secretly hate the Canes and everything do because they have failed miserably at life, and 3) those who rarely get laid. Aranda was #1 , a bigger program came calling, **** happens. Diaz was #2 . Experts across the board are shocked how good of a hire this is. Miserable, overly-*********ing, fat guys in this thread are shook....nice to see them move on to support other teams now. From Dorito to Diaz and people whine....lol.......Wish some of these miserable Canes hating cretins would load the .45 and eat one for the good of all of us.

I see 10th in RZ defense

50th in passing efficiency (Miami was 36th)

57th total Defense.

Guess we'll have to wait and see.

The DB coach might be a big deal

This is going to get recruits in here that want to get after the QB, make plays, be seen on TV, and showcase their talent for the NFL. We won't be bringing in DTs to just fill gaps any more.
