Yes this is another thread because the other thread has been perverted by all the miserable FN losers who complain about everything.

Watch what the media says... This is a great hire.

This MF just took a Mississippi State down 50 slots the rankings in the toughest division in football in one season and runs a super aggressive 4-3 defense and you pair that with the best Dline coach is the business and you have your Miami defense we have all wanted.

If you bring in Raymond this could be a FN unbelievable staff.

The fans on this board are either monkeys who repeats what the first porster says or they are complete FN morons who only live to complain.

We have the defense we all wanted and we have the best technician coaching our dline which was our biggest weakness over this miserable stretch .

We will have a super aggressive 4-3 defense littered with 1st round D-Linemen.

If you pu$$y bleeds from that then you aint a Miami fan.

Welcome home Manny, you just landed your dream job...

Time to outdo yourself...

MSU defense was 36 in nation in points per game in the SEC with ZERO talent.

Over agressive 4-3 scheme that kids will love to play in....SIGN ME UP!!!

That's a good point about this hire. How many defensive stud recruits have we lost recently because they hated our passive lame *** scheme? That problem is now 110% fixed. Between coach Kool's dline and Diaz's attacking style, kids are going to be lining up to come play at Miami. These guys are competent coaches. If we fill the roster with crazy talent we'll have an elite defense.

You guys want a aggressive defense and we got it with him...don't fault him with Texas he was thought of as an up and comer before the job and he did a great job until the last season and a half when Mack lost his touch in recruiting

We go from a guy who fields nothing but top 5 defenses, to a guy who got fired for being D'Onofrio level at UT. He was MISERABLE there. I mean epic failure as a DC there.

Anyone who is celebrating this probably jerked off when Corley got hired. We just hired a very bad coach folks, and his system is NOT the old Miami 4-3. It's a zone blitz mess that is hard for kids to learn.

Manny Diaz Sr is responsible for us losing the stadium. His corrupt *** made a deal with Loria and the Marlins

Don't forget that

Horrible hire IMO

If I remember correctly, Lu is a big fan of his.

I'll wait and see what he does with our guys. Working with someone like Coach Kool will be interesting.

Just gonna have to trust Richt and hope the Texas stint is an asterisk to his capabilities.

He has been pretty good at Mississippi State.....im cool with the hire. We will be better next year defensively

For all the idiots saying "yay attacking defense!" allow me to explain how his defense attacks:

Via the zone blitz. This means that you will be seeing AQM dropping into zone coverage. This means a defense that is VERY confusing and often takes years to implement properly.

What you won't see is 4 men on the line just getting after it with man coverage behind.

Congrats, the mouthbreathers got what they want: a mediocre to poor DC who runs a 4-3.
AQM won't be a lb...he'll be a de in a 4-3

He's had good defenses everywhere except that dumpster fire also known as Texas. Kids are going to want to play in this system. We didn't get Aranda, I don't know what better, REALISTIC options were available. Couple this with Coach Kool, and all that's left is a big league DB coach and this D will be a problem from the gate next year.

So the guy gets fired from have an ABYSMAL defense at Texas.

Then produces some mediocre defenses at MSU.

He runs a system that requires DL to drop into coverage.

And you are praising this???????

This was a TERRRRRIBLE hire. Absolutely awful.

If south Florida has the athletes this board says it does you can expect him to do a lot better at Miami than he has at any other stop. He did well in the SEC coaching on a team that gets scraps.
