Malik Rosier had a great game today

Actually 57% which is good... Rosier isn’t a one dimensional pocket passer, running is part of his game. 3 TDs on the ground and no turnovers adds to his overall great performance.

I’d take that instead of 65% completion Kaaya with no extra TDs to show for it losing to Cincinnati.

It’s Toledo!!! Just to prove It means nothing VMI’s QB’s combined to throw for 59% .

While his accuracy was still poor , I will say that the offense looks better when he has designed QB runs given to him.

We should do more of that

Today he displayed the same deficiencies that will prevent us from beating good opponents. Rosier was terrible passing and good running. Against a stout defense they will take away rosier's running, force him to pass, and it will be lights out for us once again. I found nothing encouraging about his performance today.

Yes. Talk yo **** man. Everyone losing their **** and this sums it all up.

Facts on Facts.

@terdferguson I wish I could like your post 1000 times. Yes, I found nothing encouraging about his performance today too...I'm starting to doubt the football IQ level of some of these CIS porsters.

Rosier is an average QB who did good against a team that isn’t as talented as us. We know how he performs when that isn’t the case... Attacking him isn’t going to solve anything. He is what he is.

We have a weak overall schedule. So I doubt there will be any real moments where he could be pulled. It’s going to fall on Richt to make a move, because any move would be meant to help with the possible growing pains in 2019.. None of our backup QBs has thrown a pass against an FBS team this year, and honestly, with how we’re presently playing/constructed... beating Clemson in a conference championship with any of these QBs will be a feat.

When Malik didn’t get pulled in the LSU game, it was very telling to me. He’s the starter. We support him, and hope one of Perry, Williams, or Weldon steps up next year.

He deserves credit for how he played, he had some really nice throws today & he ran the ball great.

Let's all just hope he keeps it up once we start the bulk of our ACC schedule.

When Malik deserves criticism he'll get it in spades, today he's earned nothing but respect. Regardless of its Toledo or not. He played great give him his credit.

This board is full of puzzys.... scared of the coastal competition bc we lost to LSU who looks like one of the best teams in the SEC.
This dates back to the PITT game..look man either follow the sheep or too the gallows you go..u can’t be on here giving malik props bruh

Agreed

Even when he has success, it just looks unnatural & tougher than needed. Decent athlete, average runner, terrible decision maker, even worse passer.

He played well. People will always focus on the negatives because they are cheering against him but he did a lot of positive things today.

He's never going to complete 75% of his passes on a consistent basis but if he can convert 3rd downs/in the red zone and protect the ball, we will be fine.
Because folks are tired of people like you who make excuses..

JT had to throttle down on the TD throw
Mallory was open for 8 seconds instead he throws it late and behind Mallory

Hit cager on the inside and the pass was designed to go to his outside shoulder..

I'll admit I don't like #12 so that means my opinion is biased, but you watched the same guy I saw and for you to act like this would have worked against a solid P5 team than we will disagree for the rest of the time we are on this board.

Hey I'm gonna go enjoy my weekend. You guys can pump sunshine up #12's *** when we all saw a nervous qb with zero pocket awareness who fails to go through any progressions.

If we run the table its because the team is stacked besides Rosier. Kaaya got drafted as a Junior. Rosier is going to go undrafted as a 5th year senior. That alone should tell you who the better QB is.
Right... Malik alone isn't going to win games. But today... MR played as good as I believe he can. This is why I had said that if we go 10-2 with MR that's ******* marvelous. As much as he likes to keep the ball and run he improves the chance that we will see Perry (or however) taking snaps. Though unlikely, Malik may prove many of us wrong down the stretch... but don't look at me I don't gamble.

Had a couple really nice throws on 3rd down, which is incredibly important.

They were easy throws, but still, he struggles with **** near everything at times. The one in the hole in the zone to Cager on the left sideline was a nice play however you want to slice it, and he had a couple other easy ones to Cager and Langham that I can remember. 3rd down passing was pretty **** good today.

needed to use his legs because I dont give a **** what yall think, 51% passer DOES'NT DO IT. He floats, and mostly throws behind his receivers. He makes us 1-dimensional and without #4's bailouts, we woulda lost. #4 gave rosier more help than the federal government gave to wall street in 2008. **** my life.
