Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney had an interesting punishment for freshman cornerback Andrew Booth, who was ejected in yesterday’s win at Louisville.
Swinney made Booth ride the bus home from Louisville with team managers instead of flying with the team. The bus ride from Louisville to Clemson is just shy of seven hours.
“He had a long bus ride home last night and plenty of time to think about it,” Swinney said on Sunday.

Booth got into it with one of Louisville's players when both ended up in a scrum yesterday. Booth punched the kid and was ejected for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Pretty sure the kid got the point.....

Is this supposed to be impressive? Same old story...if the guy doing it is on top (Dabo, Saban, etc.) then it’s genius. If a coach from some 3-3 team did it, people would say it’s dumb.
Who would say it it's dumb and why? You have to be established and successful coach to do it because you have to be confident in your seat. Not someone who is standing on shaky grounds. I would admire coaches like that because you need to establish some fear in the players.

The head coach of the Villanova women's soccer team back in the day, stopped the team bus 3 miles from campus and made the team walk after a loss.

I literally just saw that play on a replay on the acc network and Dabo was digging In Booths *** before he could get off the field. He sent him to the locker room before the refs even announced the flag and ejection lol.
