We had talent. Some started right away, Spence, Benjamin, Vernon... others needed more time to get their issh together. Its a two way street.

Really...? You're gonna put Jimmy Graham on that list. He had 1 yr and did really good here. Shields changed positions his last year. Seantrel was a self-admitted ganja head.

Ehh........the draft, like recruiting, is a crapshoot. I thought Leonard Hankerson would do what Allen Hurns is doing...

That is why I absolutely hate when our fans (even on here) dog guys like Howard, Bush, Chick, etc, etc. These guys are good players, they are just absolutely screwed by the staff.

Can't dog the kids, these cats ain't in position to progress as players. I don't think we have or recruited a great interior DLiNE but still had enough to whoop everyone in the accs *** besides Fsu.

Sam Shields 2.0 for real.

Anyone else remember the hype around Chick coming out of HS? I remember at an all star game Chick was talking about what it would be like if he played with Clowny in college. I wish he had for his sake. Folden screwed over ever DL in our program.

I think those interior DL would look pretty good in another system like Robinson.

Kid did nothing here, was benched and he just played 30+ snaps as a rookie FA.

Coaches are costing these kids a lot of money. Its terrible.
 
They've put 45 pounds on Chick since he's arrived. They've had him in a role where he isn't asked to "disrupt" or make plays.

Perryman has also been force fed and fattened up so much scouts are saying he's hurting his draft stock. They worry about how he will cover or operate in space.


This staff is becoming excellent at damaging kid's draft value and robbing them of initial contracts
 
THIS CRAP MAKES ME SO MAD!! I remember I was on BR arguing w/ one of the biggest Al Sluppers in the world b/c his article stated that we lacked talent. I specifically mentioned Luther Robinson and how he was highly touted and I ran down a list that included several 4 star players who were never used or developed under Al's Regime and that he preferred to play his guys instead of Shannon's guys. It's clear that changing D-Coordinators is not the answer; the answer is to get rid of Al.

If I was a coach recruiting against Golden, I would just print this article out and hand it to the kid's parents and coaches. There is no need need to say a word. Only Al ******* Golden can make college not fun; but, let's keep Golden around for the recruiting class.

i laugh about the we didn't have d linemen. you mean we didn't develop dlinemen or kicked them off the team. Chick- 4/5 star, jalen grimble 4/5 star, luther robinson 4 star, jelani hamilton 4 star, **** i think even david perry was listed as a 4star. not to say all of those highly sought after and highly rated guys were as talented as their rating but there is very little probabity that we happened to recruit all the overrated guys. especially when we're losing to schools that have players we could have had since we outrecruited them. i mean we outrecruited the entire coastal division and almost the entire ACC but our players are all "overrated".
