Who cares how long it took him to graduate? How is that relevant?? You do not know if he is a smart QB. He hasn't played a meaningful down of CFB. LSU fans are out of touch with reality. He was never was going to win the starting job at OSU and you are not a QB evaluator so you don't know his potential. I watched his spring game highlights at OSU, he consistently under throws the long ball, even when he knows he won't get hit. He is not really mobile, he's very slow, and Miami will eat him alive if he tries to leave the pocket and scramble. He is accurate in the short game, thats one positive. He will show his true colors on Sunday though.
People said the same things about him in high school because he played in a small conference and assumed he'd get throttled by columbus/cleveland/toledo schools. "He's slow, plays weak competition, weak arm, he'll cave once our defense hits him." Then he'd hang 400 yards through the air, 100 on the ground and 7 touchdowns on those teams.
High school is high school but I think it is a huge mistake to take him lightly. Contrary to your assessment, he can run. Burrow wont dash for a 50 yard td but can easily eat up 5-20 yards on a given play.
Hoping for an injury free, excting ball game. I think it's going to be close and having grown up in Athens County, hoping Burrow balls out.
