Both.
It’s much easier to get to the playoffs for Oklahoma than it is for LSU or even Clemson.
And from an infrastructure standpoint Oklahoma is on equal footing with LSU/Clemson in terms of financial support by boosters & allocated funds into the football program.
Also, Oklahoma has just as good of access to great recruits as the two program do as well, Oklahoma pulls largely from Texas, but can also periodically dip into FL, Cali, the underrated AZ market (that produces great QB’s annually) & can even broach into the Midwest market shared with OH St & Michigan. Oklahoma locally has actually produced some high caliber recruits as well so they can take from their own backyard too.
LSU is a great program due to it’s location in relation to a hot recruiting zone in Louisiana & because they have booster that don’t mind spending money. Clemson is a great program because they have great infrastructure, a great coach & are willing to spend money. Oklahoma is a great program because of their history, prestige, access to recruits, infrastructure, willingness to spend money & have one of the best offensive minded QB guru’s in the business.
LSU can only rise to the level of the coach they have, Clemsom is similar, Oklahoma could be looked at in the same way, but I think out of the 3 Oklahoma would survive the best if they lost their coach, meaning they have the structure to replace a great HC & produce another one. IMO Clemson goes as Dabo goes & LSU is solely dependent on finding a guy that can capture lightning in a bottle & out recruit Saban for a year or two.
