The Hurricanes were also without four-star freshman Hayden Lowe, who was among the top freshmen in spring camp. Cristobal said Monday that Lowe will miss the whole season. Lowe has not played this season.

“His injury’s a little bit more significant than we thought. So he’ll come back strong. He’ll be ready for spring football.”

just piecing it together, in fall ball pics of Lowe were posted and he had no extra medical **** attached to him, then week 1 he is dressed but he had on one of those shoulder braces then week 2 doesnt dress at all. I thought someone here mentioned he was potentially dealing with a shoulder, perhaps they thought it was something minor but as the weeks went by it did not get better and he now needs surgery. fits the narrative of being more significant and a timeline to have him ready in 6 months

Sounds like they went in to do a cleanup and found some major damage. Sometimes an MRI does not show the extent of the damage. My guess is that is what happened here.

Blount back confirmed today. McConathy is needed though with Lowe gone.
